Went in for a consultation with Mr. Nolan. He was rude and gave us the total to handle our case and in just a few words told us we couldn't afford him. We decided to go somewhere else and it was the best decision ever. Mr. Nolan tried calling again to see if we were still interested to which I replied "no" it was so unpleasant to be treated and talked down like that. Excuse my husband for showing up in his construction clothes as he was in working hours. Just because he showed up like that to the consultation didn't mean he couldn't afford an attorney. He's an independent contractor and cannot work wearing a suit and tie.

I now know why somebody would pay a quality attorney to handle their case. I had an unfortunate incident last year which I knew I was not in the wrong in, but didn't have the knowledge to fight myself. After a free consultation with Peters and Nolan, I felt confident they could prove my innocence in the matter. I shouldn't have had to deal with this incident, given I wasn't involved in it at all, but that's the law for ya. I do know that at the end, Peters and Nolan were able to prove my innocence. I was recently represented by Andrew Peters in a DUI/Weapons Possession case. The Peters and Nolan Law Firm had been recommended to me by several members of the legal and law enforcement community in Mesa County. During my first meeting with Andrew, we discussed the allegations and what the best and worst case scenarios for me were possible. Andrew explained that I would be facing both a criminal case and a DMV case. When I discussed the traffic stop with Andrew, he right away saw that it was a bad stop and the CSP trooper clearly didn't understand the laws he has been entrusted to enforce. Andrew was able to get the DA to drop all the original charges and offer me Careless Driving, which I accepted. Andrew was confident we could have gone to a Motions Hearing and have everything suppressed based on the bad stop, but I decided not to take the chance. I was most worried about the DMV hearing and the possibility of losing my license for a year. Andrew effectively argued that the Trooper made an unlawful stop and the DMV Hearing Officer dismissed the case and my license was reinstated.
