In response to your reply Keith, it is interesting how it is disclosed only after:
- I spent more than 30 minutes in your office on September 6 with a very efficient staffer showing her and the receptionist photos of the accident clearly taken at the downtown USBank and while she scanned 33 pages containing correspondence from USBank's insurance adjuster, my accident ER medical records, and the police report I filed
- emailed the staffer photos of my injuries and the accident scene at USBank that same day
- spoke to the staffer that same day for another 10 minutes providing her with more personal information she requested, when she corrected my inaccurate identification of the location of the accident, by confirming that the accident actually took place at USBank, rather than a different location I had been stating all week, likely a symptom of my concussion.
- spoke to one of your attorneys for another 10 minutes that same day who I could hear typing while I provided more details about the accident at USBank and my injuries who said that another attorney would have to call me later since the firm still hadn't taken my case
- Then on Monday September 9 spoke to another attorney for another hour providing more specific details about what happened at USBank , more about the injuries I sustained, other personal information about myself, and interaction I had with the USBank (possibly someone he is familiar with at USBank) and the insurance company
When none of the above ever mentioned any possible conflict of interest with USBank.
It was shocking to learn several hours later on September 9 that the attorney spoke directly with "Keith Killian" who curiously determined the firm could not represent me due to a conflict of interest since the firm banks with USBank and is representing a USBank client who could not be revealed; Information I should have been made aware of four days earlier.
Additionally, before my determination letter came in the mail, social security called and informed me that my lawyer had contacted them to expedite my back payments because of dire financial position I was in. I was very thankful for this attention to detail provided to me. Can't thank you enough James.
