From the beginning Joe was honest and up front about my case and what he would be charging. As time went on his team kept me informed of the status of everything. In the end there was an unexpected set of circumstances presented themselves and the case had to be put on hold. Even though he was not responsible or required he returned a portion of my payment. Only keeping what he had earned to that point. To be honest I was amazed to receive anything back. I had a very positive experience with Joe and his firm overall.

I was actually referred to the Gersten Law Firm. When I got caught up in a HUGE mess I was unsure about my future and the outcome. The second I asked Gersten to be my attorney to represent me, he did exactly that. Throughout the entire case I knew everything my attorney knew. I was updated about my case via phone call and emails. It made this whole process easier and less stressful for me. I didn't have to worry about attending a few of the court hearings/meetings because my attorney did it. I thanked him when it was all over. My case seemed impossible but he WON! Honestly he made it so easy and painless. Will go back If I ever need to!

Mr. Gersten is a rare and precious thing - a lawyer who really and truly does what's best for the client, not for him! He just gave me the exact advise I needed, explained why that was his recommendation (clearly but briefly) and let me go. He didn't try to drag it out, didn't say he needed to consult case law, or the NV revised statutes, and he didn't try to make me come back for another consultation.

My neighbor suggested I call Mr. Gersten because he's a straight shooter, and he tells it like it is. He is, and he does. He made time for me (same day), but he didn't drag out the "billable" hours or minutes. He just gave me damn good advice and wished me well.

I would recommend him to anyone needing legal advice, even if it's not strictly in the areas that he specializes in. He's bright, he's well informed, and he's very familiar with what I guess you could call "legal universals." He gives practical advice that promises the most desirable outcome for his client.

Terrible experience. Received no results after paying top dollar. He will take your money and then ask for more to get a desirable outcome. When I found out the deal I was presented with was subpar he asked for double the rate I had already paid. I decided to dismiss Mr. Gersten from my case 3 weeks prior to the court date. He had the audacity to come to court that day to dismiss himself. I went with a public defender and settled the matter with a better outcome. He's a money hungry attorney with no merit or ethics. He will use scare tactics to get your money and will then do the bare minimum. In my case, as well as my co-workers, he did not have our best interest in mind. His lack of doing anything cost us a considerable amount of money in lost work. I highly advise you to stay away and go elsewhere. A public defender can even save you from the headache this lousy attorney can cause.

10/10 great attorney. Would recommend to anyone. One (very) minor thing I had an issue with, he took a bit to respond to emails. Usually he or his staff responded in a reasonable timeframe but it did worry me a little. He (and his great team) responds to calls/voicemails on the same day normally, so no real complaints.

Still though, in the end, he satisfactorily resolved my issue. Hopefully I wont need his help again, but I'll keep Joe on speed-dial.
