Don't give your money to this lady I paid her $1.500 to take my ex husband to court for child support, we have a service contract she asked for a retainer of $1.500 I gave it to her she didn't do anything we never went to court she didn't file anything in court. In other words she didn't do anything stated in the contract. So I called her one day to ask how things going regarding my case she said... I close your case bacause you didn't provide my with your ex husband address (she didn't need my ex husband address as the Family Court have his address), because of that I AM closing your case so I ask her why you did not called me to inform me about this and please refund my money back, she said I afraid that this is it that money is for the emails ( The longest email we have ever written was 3 lines long ) and phone Calls ( I only spoke with her 3 times on the phone for not longer than 5 minutes because she always busy) We have had regarding this case I said to her but miss we have a contract you haven't fulfilled any thing you have said in this contract she just replied: I am so sorry that u didn't understand and I haven't hear from her after that. I am taking her to the small claims court and also making a formal complaint about this person with the Florida Bar. Dont give her your money I am a single mother of 2 and this lady not even care about that she just took my money with out any regrets. REGARDING TO YOUR RESPONSE A MONTH AGO: Really Miss Nancy you sorry and if you sorry so much them give back the $ 1.500 you know you didn't work for this money to deserve it, you knew from the beginning what was my case about so if you knew you couldn't fill the needs of my case why did you took the case and the money.? I had trusted in you a lot Miss Nancy because you told me you had work for 10 years with the CHILD SUPPORT Department, so I was very happy because I thought I have chosen a good an honest Lawyer what a Disappointment if you work hard as you say... Sorry miss but I work harder SMH.
