Two happy clients who would use this organization again if we are ever in the need of a work injury lawyer again.

I was working for a man who was paying us all illegally under the table. I was injured while on the job and he took me to the ER and paid for my visit. I continued to have back pain and it was getting worse. When I was injured he told me he would take care of me and he did not, he told me to take advil and it would get better. My back pain got really bad within a few weeks and he fired me. I wanted to sue him but had no idea what to do. I went to the ER to get help for my pain and a doctor at the ER informed me this was a work injury and he was breaking the law so to call around and try to get a work injury lawyer. I called this number first, set a same day appointment and the lawyer I met with told me they would take a few days to decide if they were going to take my case based on a lot of how screwed up everything was. They did take my case and I was able to get workers comp benefits and my injury was accepted. I want to thank everyone for helping me with something that I know was not easy, I am very grateful and I hope my review helps you help more people who were in a tough spot like me.

My case is so complicated I would not even know where to start so I will try to sum it up and not be ridiculous. I tried to do this all on my own. My claims examiner was a very nice lady, I thought she was working to help me, she was friendly, returned my calls and everything seemed to be going ok for the most part. I had a QME and that all changed. They tried to settle my case, it was almost like they were pushing me to sign a settlement and I had no idea if it was a good one of not. SO I called around and spoke with a handful of lawyers. Some of them told me they would not take my case because I might have "screwed it up" in the words of one lawyer, and some were polite and just politely declined. When I called the workers compensation attorney group I spoke with a young woman, I assume she was not a lawyer but she did ask me to send over all of my documentation. I had a free face to face consultation with a lawyer a few days later and they decided to take my case. My case was finally resolved and by getting a lawyer I could not believe how much more money I received in my settlement from what they offered me when I did not have a lawyer. Like my Daddy always told me, I am too nice, but thankfully in this case I got a bad gut feeling from the insurance company and got a lawyer. I was smart and won.

My case is very complicated. So complicated I fired my first lawyer because they basically would not listen to me. I do not live in California but my work injury jurisdiction is Cali. I was totally unable to get anything done with my first lawyer. He was unable to get me treatment and told me the only way I would get treatment was to commute back to cali, wth? I finally got fed up and made some calls. I learned that my case was for lack of better words a pain in the bum because the cali work comp system is so awful doctors in other states do not even want to engage in it in any way. So, I interviewed a few lawyers and decided to go with this group. The lawyer I met with was very confident, almost cocky so I figured this is the guy for me. The rest is history, I did get treatment in Nevada where I live but I also had to travel to cali for a medical legal evaluation, I knew that was unavoidable and needed to settle me case. Long story short I am very happy and relieved to be out of this broken system.

My injury was very minor and I could not seem to get any help getting medical treatment and it seemed to get worse. By the time I hired a work comp lawyer to help me with my injury my pain had gotten unbearable. My carpal tunnel was very bad. Work injuries are terrible, but you can control the lawyer who helps you. I would recommend this group. I was very happy with all aspects of dealing with them. I admit going into this with a skeptical view of lawyers, this helped me trust them more.

I will try to make this long story short. I was injured on the job back in 20014. I filed my case and it was accepted by the insurance company. I was told I had a back strain and was given medication I rarely took because they made me high and I could not drive to and from work doped up on pills. So yeah, very responsible of the treating Dr, right, which wasn't even a Dr btw it was a physicians asst. So moving forward, I continue to have pain, have follow up visits with my Dr, about 1 year later I was sent to physical therapy and low and behold the physical therapist does an interview and an exam with me, sends me back to my Dr and suggests an MRI because they suspected a nerve pinch or something. SO, off I go, back to the Dr and I get the MRI. I had a herniated disk, for who knows how long. I thankfully got some steroid injections that helped a lot but I was told by the spine specialist I was referred to that my back was " as ticking time bomb" and to be very careful. At this point I hired a lawyer through the workers compensation attorney group because I am not going to leave anything to chance when it comes to my financial settlement, These crooks are going to pay me every dime I am owed.

I was very happy with the process. Not the work comp process but the process I went through with my lawyer. Stay patient, get a lawyer, it is a long ride but without a lawyer the ride is longer. Trust me, I learned the hard way. Good organization, honest and delivered on all promises. Never led me astray.

I called to get assistance for my mom as I started explain the reason for the call the gentleman cut me off and asked for my zip code and said we have no one for that area to handle your case and hung up the phone on me without saying goodbye or good luck with your case.
