When I was in law school, I spent a summer interning in a office where Dayne practiced at the time. I worked directly with him on a number of matters, and I saw firsthand the dedication that he brings to his work of defending people accused of crimes. Dayne's approach is client-centered: he'll do everything that he legally and ethically can to obtain the best results for his clients. While the government may outspend Dayne, the government will never outwork or outthink him. If I, or one of my friends or family members, were accused of a crime in South Carolina, I would not hesitate for a moment retaining or recommending Dayne. I have known Dayne for a number of years through the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. I have heard him speak and have had multiple conversations with him about the practice of Criminal Defense Law and DUI in particular. As an attorney myself, from the State of Indiana, I can tell the difference between real Criminal Defense Trial Lawyers, and those pretending to be. If I needed to make a referral of a potential client in need of a criminal defense attorney in the Midlands, Dayne would be at the top of the list of attorneys I would have them call.

I have interviewed Dayne on my show Good Morning Lexington County many times. Although I've never been a client, I would mostly certainly refer anyone who needed a criminal defense attorney to him. He is constantly attending training courses and seminars to gain more knowledge and is active in professional associations that continually make him a master in his field. Having said all that, he is also easy to talk to and genuinely cares about his clients. He really is one of the good guys who believes people are innocent until proven guilty. Dayne was very helpful with my daughter's case with the university's student conduct office. He was always available to us, returned calls and emails promptly. While the school has a very unfair process, at least we had Dayne on our side working toward the best outcome.
