On their website where it says the type of cases they handle the first option is employment cases this doesn't seem to be true they were very unhelpful...

What a fine law firm. Senior partners Marshall Horton and Lindsay Goodman are very solid and well respected lawyers in Beaufort County. They have a wide range of practice, but excel in Family Law, Criminal and also Personal Injury cases. Top notch and trustworthy to a fault.

Don’t walk but RUN from this lawyer, Marshall L. Horton and his staff. After having extensive legal dealings around the country, Marshall Horton is undoubtedly the most frustrating and unenthusiastic attorney I have ever dealt with. I had to call the SC Bat Association after Mr. Horton failed to respond to any contact for almost two months after retaining him on a civil case against a neighbor who used my virgin vacant lot as a construction road to build his new house. If a lawyer isn’t enthusiastic or even truly caring about a case then they should decline the case. The defendants lawyer ran circles around Mr. Horton who failed to live up the oath he took as a member of the SC Bar. Simple things like his staff identifying themselves when you called was a foreign concept to them. If you enjoy frustration, wasting both your time and hard earned money then Mr Horton is the lawyer for you.
