A couple of years ago, I was in a car accident wherein the driver who hit me was undocumented and had no insurance. I was left with serious spinal injuries and mounting medical bills, having to take a leave from work...and MY insurance company was anything but helpful! I had the pleasure of working with Allison Champion at Harrell and Harrell, as they were trying to help us after my daughter was involved in a car accident, where she was a passenger. Allison investigated the matter and helped me to understand what steps I should take in order to resolve this matter. They were not able to recovery any extra money for us, because the person at fault had very low liability limits, but she guided me through the process and helped me to understand what steps I need to take next to pay the medical bills that will be coming. After all was said and done, they didn't charge me any fees, even though she worked tirelessly to find those extra funds. Thank you to Allison, and to Harrell and Harrell, for trying to help. They took the time to meet us at a location that was close to our house so we didn't have to drive through horrible traffic. The attorney was patient with us considering the amount of paperwork we had. I never once had to call to check the status of case because they would call me. They never met my daughter face to face but they took her injury to heart knowing how uncertain her future would be after suffering a traumatic brain injury. She wanted to join the military after highschool but due to the injury she can't. The attorney worked hard and won! My daughter is able to afford college because of Harrell and Harrell. You can tell most of the reviews are General statements like they just were made up and maybe were paid a couple bucks to make a good review. It reminds me of the Morgan & Morgan Google business page. You would think reviewers would talk a little bit more in depth about how they did such a wonderful job instead of just general statement

Nick Lake is fantastic. Working with him is a joy...his firm, not so much. Its unfortunate because all the way through I felt very cared for and then when it became time to "close the deal" so to speak, it seems like things went a little haywire. When dealing with Renee Harrell, I felt very much like a transaction instead of a person and that was disappointing. I actually just decided to settle because I didnt want to deal with it anymore.
I would work with Nick again, but not Harrell and Harrell. I give Nick a 5 and Harrell & Harrell a 1 to average out as a 3.

I came to H&H after my accident because they are a family company and I got the impression, after talking to two other major firms, that their caring attitudes were real. I could not get through to a lawyer at either of the two firms and after talking with Nancy Greg (paralegal) and a brief hold, I was speaking to an attorney. He agreed to take my case and turned me back to Nancy. From that point on she handled everything. She was always available when I called and called me frequently and updated me as to the status of the case. Long story short, the case has been settled for the policy maximum and I will soon have a check. May the good Lord have mercy on whomever has face this law firm .They are outstanding.

I was told that I had a very good case with witness, however after over a year they bowed out send me to another attorney, not of my choosing, and nothing happened so far. I was kept out of the loop, with both attorneys - most of the time, and had to fire both attorneys. Go some place else.
