D.R. Does it's best to assist anyone that reaches out. If the issues or subject isn't within the confines of the Agency's abilities or resources, have always been given clear advice & resources to contact. The web site is very clear, easily accessible & understandable. It also offers listings of other groups/agencies that are useful. The staff is knowledgeable & patient, even if D.R. FL. can't assist you. Also D.R.will swiftly mail out information or materials pertaining to your discussion. A group worthy of being put on a "birthday fundraiser" or similar occasions. The need for assistance is enormous, consider using D.R. FL. as resource & in return using D.R. FL or whatever chapter is closest to you as a fundraiser platform. TY to Disability Rights FL & D.R. National.

Pamela Ford was the advocate assigned to us for my child as it pertains to representation within Brevard County Schools. I had to request for her to fix the spelling on our paperwork 3 times. She did not respond to e-mails or phone calls within a timely matter (her responses took more than a week). It appeared that she was overworked and unable to maintain her schedule. This review pertains to how she represented my child and nothing towards the organization itself.
This Organization will help in Any area any does have other websites and information to connect anyone with areas that Disability Rights Florida cannot provide.
They are professional, quick to respond with dignity and respect to the specific community needs regarding the individual(s).
The website and informational packets mailed out are very easy to understand.

My son is disabled. Once I called Disability Rights of Florida for some advice. They are very proffesional. I have not been here though and neither did I post the pictures until now. I have no idea who is doing this with my information. But I too am on disability. I am 63years old. Please forgive me if this behavior of others has caused any harm. I too am trying to discover who and how this is being done. Sincerely Diana M. Bedingfield.

While my experiences were with the Tampa office, this office appears to be the one which heads all Florida operations. The executive director and board of directors are uncontactable, and the contacts of other lower level directors are difficult to impossible to find. Advocates will insist on phone contact, and in-person meetings as these leave no paper trail. All subjects of the meetings and phone calls are deniable at a later time, as there is no written record. All agreements made are null and void, and the advocates do not advocate on your behalf.
