I was given helpful advice. They can not represent you in court though. Its more of an advising legal self-help service.

Asked for info and if they are legal aid. The answer was no and before I finished asking my next question. I was told no. This office is not there to help.

Made an appointment to try to get representation for my case. Lawyer made me retell my traumatizing story in detail just to be told at the end of the appointment that they have too big of a caseload and can't take my case. Wasted my time and theirs, and caused even more psychological damage. Extremely disappointing.

Ft Walton office is a joke. The lawyer Mr Norback stood me up every appointment, no calls, just wasn't there after took off work at a new job and drove an hour. It's been SIX MONTHS and still have yet to see or talk to anyone. I just received a notice that my appointment with the partner lawyer today was cancelled (weather related however I will add, the bridges are open and everyone else is at work...). Not only was it cancelled but the message said the wrong lawyers name. I tried calling back only 5 minutes later to explain my appointment was with the other lawyer so I could make sure they had the right person and the paralegal Mandy was insanely rude, I mean to the point I was actually laughing at the ridiculousness of it all by the end. She raising her voice saying she said not to call back today so I suppose we're not allowed to call the office when they do not feel like answering, then kept raising her voice as every time I tried to speak. She just kept repeating the same thing over and over 'As I said on the message, your appointment was with Norback, call back tomorrow to reschedule," I waited until her tirade was over and tried to ask if the lawyer I was supposed to with would be there tomorrow, when she said she would try to get me in, on the message of course, so I could know to let work know and she just cut me off even louder repeating the same thing. This is one girl who obviously hates her job with a passion, it was ridiculous.
PS, The secretary really tries and is very nice, poor thing is stuck fielding unhappy clients and has to work with those two.
PS I feel I have to add, while 'my' lawyer has returned one call in 6 months, my ex's lawyer has returned every call and text within minutes, even while on vacation.
