Jim is a great attorney, and a great person. Throughout my wife's entire case he was thorough and really fought hard for her. Most importantly, he cared. It wasn't just a job for him. We are forever grateful for his service.

Jim was such an excellent resource. He explained every step of the process, communicated often, and ensured I received the best representation possible. I could not be more grateful to have had him as my attorney

Complete idiot and not worth the time talking to. He’s curt, very dismissive, talks extremely fast and doesn’t listen very well as I had to repeat the same thing three times. I’ve been warned to watch out for fast talkers. He called me back and introduced himself this way, “Yeah, this is Jim the attorney, what’s the problem?” WTH?? I’m thinking to myself that he may be the problem. First impressions are everything and I wouldn’t recommend him to my enemy. I’d love my enemy too much. Bye Felicia!

Great lawyer from my experience! My case was complex involving wrongful termination, discrimination, and a insurance company that refused to pay me comp for my workplace injury. Jim got me a very fair agreement as well as guided me through the workers comp process and got my comp reinstated! If you want a lawyer to take your case personal call Jim!!!

I had 15 years with a company, top ratings, top pay, and in good standing all the way to the CEO of the Corporation. Then I got a new Director and for the next 6 weeks I couldn't do anything right. I felt like I was in the twilight zone, nothing made sense, HR was no help, I was isolated, not informed, but I knew something was wrong. I needed employment advice. I did a search online and found Jim's number. Even though he was on vacation, he still talked to me and made an appointment for the next week. Jim listened to a recording of one of my meetings with the director and HR. It was clearly a case of age discrimination. Jim talked me through the steps to notify my company that I felt I was being discriminated based on my age. I've never had dealings with a lawyer before, never felt I needed to. But Jim made everything clear, laid out the pros and cons, and gave me a mental picture of how things may unfold after I gave the company notice. So far I'm still employed, the director has backed off, management is talking to me again, I'm no longer isolated, and I feel in control of myself again. Basically, I'm no longer in the twilight zone.
If I get terminated or have to file a complaint with the EEOC, I will definitely hire Jim to help me through it.

I called Mr. Arruebarrena because I was fired after filing a complaint with the EEOC against my former employer. When it came time to meet with my former employer to negotiate a separation settlement Mr. Arruebarrena was a no show. With no attorney to guide me, I was coerced into signing a terrible contract. I am now blacklisted and can no longer find work nor can I collect unemployment. Thanks so much for not giving a flip. Do not trust this attorney. He will promise you help and will not show up when you need him most. He is a charlatan more than he is a lawyer.

I called Jim on an employment matter where I had been mistreated by my employer. He took the time to review my case and helped me get a great resolution. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Initial answer to his phone call was; "Have you been wrongfully terminated" ..... (me thinking Oh okay, WTF)... without even Introducing himself. His Second questions was; " Where did you hear about my firm". This guy is a fast talker and not a good listener, will interrupt you and is very much unprofessional.

This guy is in it for himself like most Attorneys, he wants a high profile, open and closes case, from a high profile company such as SHELL as stated above from the 5 star reviewer. This Attorney reminded me of a used cars salesmen. so, if you're looking for a Attorney that is willing to listen and not interrupt when you are trying to explain vital things, regards to your case, this guy is not him! Took my case to another Attorney who awarded me 150K in wrongful termination and work place harassment. Save your time and go with someone more understanding and professional not this Blow hard.

James represented me in a case against Shell Oil Company, "William Overton versus Shell Company". Shell had the deepest pockets and the best Liars and attorneys money could buy. And James Won the case and I was awarded almost one million dollars. James is a very good attorney with great assets.
