Dan kept asking me the same questions on 3 to 4 occasions about the same information which appeared like Dan didn't listen. During the mediation, Dan stared at his computer most of the day without participating in the conversation with the mediator or offering advice or strategy. Toward the end of the day he said he was looking for my decree online. I didn't see Dan participate at all.
I provided Dan with 14 potential witnesses of 10 we could possibly present. These were neutral third parties: teachers, coaches, scout troop leaders, etc. Dan did not speak with a single witness.
Dan's request for information looked like he had written it last minute. When I asked him why he hadn't asked for the same information I was asked for, Dan said: "We will pick it up in the deposition." The deposition never happened.
After drastically overpaying Dan based on the actual work he did, he still refused to enter the final court ruling with the TX AG. After doing it myself, they refuse to accept the court ruling forcing me to hire new representation. I can not imagine worse legal representation.
It looked like Dan did very little if any work on my case but certainly didn't hesitate to bill me. When I asked him about these issues, he got very angry and blocked my email address. My situation became much worse after hiring Dan which I believe is 100% due to him not presenting my case or preparing. I really believe there should be criminal charges and jail time for people like this.
I would not recommend Dan unless it were as opposing counsel.
