First off, I’d like to go on the record and say I won at least one of the chess games against Mark Sampson. I allowed him to win because he is a great attorney and his mind works a lil different when it comes to law, your rights as a citizen, and a human bein. Mark was the last person I saw when he so vigorously fought for me and my rights in court. His understanding, Courteous demeanor is like the picture of the kitten looking into the mirror seeing a lion. He stood by me and my family and informed us along the way what was to be expected! Most of all, he allowed us to break up his charge over a few months. It was always more about our freedom than our paychecks. My brother hired him to bond me out of jail and by paying $700 for bond and possibly represent me. When released I explained to Mr. Sampson how Austin police officers harrassed me about a law that changed in 2007 for 4 weeks and that I have evidence of their lies. He then told me police have immunity to violate me and my rights. Basically we have no such thing as private property, due process, or the right from illegal searches and seizure. So I decided to represent myself. In court i informed the judge
of my decision of suri juris, aka pro se. The judge then placed mark as my stand by counsel for support only. Meaning I will have to go through him to get access to my records and any kind of legal support. At At the time I didn't think this is a bad thing because hey I could use all the help I can get. Unfortunately this led to the most horrific experiences of my life. Thursday afternoon Mark's wife calls to tell me about court appearance friday The NEXT day. My family and I were in New Braunfels at the time ( Mark had been aware for the entire week ) and my truck was broken so I couldn't make it to court the next day with such short (unlawful) notice.
I missed court and a warrant was issued for my arrest. When I got back to town I when i found out that Sampson had charged my family $2, 700 for doing absolutely nothing and behind the judge and my back. Smfh

FYI a "criminal defense" attorney who's main ideology is police officers have immunity, then basically police officers are licensed outlaws and there's nothing we can do except submit to their authority.

Myself and my family hired Mark Sampson and he was an awful attorney for my kids...he did what a court appointed attorney could have done.
