I would definitely not recommend! I was referred to this law firm for a real estate closing by my realtor. I am not local, and I was assured that we could get everything done remotely, and everything would be sent to me right after the closing. Almost two and a half months later, and I don’t have anything! I don’t have any of my paperwork or my refund due to me, and the HOA was never notified of the transaction. I have called, emailed and texted along the way. I have been assured things were mailed and emailed a couple times, but nothing has ever been received. I have left numerous voice mails to various people there with no return calls. Not sure what is going on there, but it is very frustrating! When I do talk to the Paralegal, she is very pleasant and apologetic, but nice just doesn’t cut it any longer. I haven’t flown there because I keep getting assured it’s “in the mail”. There is always an excuse (I.e. came back due to insufficient postage, computer file must be too large to go through, etc). It’s very unprofessional and concerning that my deal that closed mid-Nov 2019 still has loose ends with no sense of urgency. I don’t know if it is due to them being too busy to serve their clients timely, or they are incompetent...or worse?? I am going to have to take additional action at this point. I would definitely not recommend!

Travis Hyman is an excellent trial lawyer!! Loyal, honest, hard-working, and a bulldog in the courtroom. Travis worked hard on a case for me out of the goodness of his heart. He believes in doing what's right and my case was a prime example. Long story short, someone filed a suit against me and my company. My insurance company denied the case, but I remember Travis saying he, "Couldn't let me go in the courtroom alone." There were times I had to tell him it was time to go home. He stopped at no end to see to it that justice was served in the case. I told him the Plaintiff was wrong, and not only did he believe me; he proved it. When we got our day in court, he was on fire. Sharp on the law and efficient with language. Ultimately, the judge directed a verdict of not liable and justice was served. We didn't have to pay any money to the Plaintiff!! The question is not whether you hire him or not, it's how bad could the situation could've been if you hadn't.

I used Hyman Law Group on 3 occasions. The lawyer that handled a Home Equity loan was fine. My interactions with Jordan Hyman was not so good. I asked him and his staff numerous times for a final bill for two different cases (re: Clearing property leans). I was told that money left over from one case would be added to the other case. I was not allowed to know at anytime what amount of money was left and how much more was needed.
He refuses to document any amounts of money I have paid him, or any break down of the work, or hours he spent on these two cases. I needed & still need an invioce (final bill) with the amounts I paid him and the amount of money that I spent on each case. He decided to put a bunch of random papers together in a folder that he left with his receptionist for me. Your paying him just to get yourself frustrated. He could care less about my own personel records or what I need for my tax records. If you want to hire a lawyer who acts like your working for him than hire Jordan Hyman.

Over a three week period my interactions with the Hyman Law Group have been very disappointing. However, my most recent experience has graduated this firm to disturbingly unprofessional. After setting up phone conferences with the Paralegal and their Probate Attorney Jordan, and ensuring that I was available at the agreed upon time, they did not call, or make themselves available on either occasion. On the second occasion I asked why it seemed their time was more valuable then mine. The answer I received was that if I didn't want Jordan to call me (45 minutes late) then, "with due respect, I could get another Lawyer". I'm a 46 year-old professional with 26 years dealing with major companies, I'm shocked that this firm is still in business. I highly suggest that you take your legal business to a firm that values their clients time as much as their own.
