Mr. Alley lied to me when I was considering him for my divorce case. He promised me I would get my kids, the house, alimony and that he would have DSS off my back immediately. That was TWO YEARS AGO, and DSS is still on my back and nothing else he promised has been done. Don’t waste your money with him unless you want the same experience I just described.

He lied to me the entire time. He forgot everything about the case. he made me hire a PI for proof and failed to file on grounds of the proof I had. When asked about it he said the judges didn't like it when you filed at fault. He drug his feet to make it where he could file for a one year separation because he filed wrong. He said he filed and months later when I asked for proof that he filed, he filed that day. He would call me at work and yell and threaten me about things the other lawyer lied to him about. He seemed like he was working for the other side and not me. Horrible.

Very disapointed in Mr. Alleys services.
I expect he is close to retiring... Beware of this lawyer and his representation.. Not worth the additional headaches.

My divorce was an open and shut case and the defendant was pro se. Robin was able to make it possible to move across state lines with my son while my case was pending, handled my final divorce trial excellently and got the outcome i expected.
To be honest my only critiques are that he could have been more reassuring throughout the case, and prompt with communication. Also his assistant is useless. If you are lacking in patience and coping skills, take this into consideration. The other reviews here are likely due to these.

In hindsight, I would hire him again should the need arise.

Mr Alley has represented my wife and I for more than 15 years with business and personal matters. He is without a doubt the most honest and down earth attorney I have ever met!

He should give me my entire retainer back, he gave more legal advise to my ex husband than he did me

Truth BeTold

I am forced to write this due to the lack of representation by G. Robin Alley. I've had no status on outstanding issues for 3 months. If Mr. Alley's services were based on results he would owe me. He refused to argue issues I wanted included in the appeal, he performed poorly in the hearing not able to answer a key question, and he could not write a compelling request for the Supreme Court to hear the case.

Before you hire him he will tell you it is OK to work via email but his answers are usually call me. When you do his voice mail is usually full and he doesn't like to give set discussion times preferring to call whenever he feels like it, if your lucky to get a return call. He won't provide any evidence of his communications with the opposing attorney. He won't let you finish a statement without cutting you off, he doesn't listen to the question and repeats the same thing several times before you get your questions answered thus it takes 3 times longer to get through a conversation once you have one. If you see anything positive about him make sure it's not his father's information. He needs to stop practicing family law and concentrate on traffic tickets and tweeting on Twitter. Run don't walk away from G. Robin Alley.
