She is a very nasty human being who should be disbarred. She doesn't deserve to be a lawyer.

New to Aiken and was looking for an attorney. I'm embarassed to say I was referred here by another attorney. On her website she looks nice and I thought I would be more comfy with a female attorney during my divorce. But when I walked in, nobody was up front but I could here alot of commotion coming from somewhere in the back. A loud conversation. Someone I assume who she represents was being called a crazy fool and then someone was getting screamed at. Eventually the receptionist came out almost in tears. could barely ask how she could help me. I got scared. Given I came from an abusive relationship I don't want to be abused by an attorney. I kept my money walked out went elsewhere.

Melissa is fair, understanding, and genuinely invested. She has a way of making people feel welcome, no matter the circumstance and knowing you're dealing with someone who really cares has a way of putting you at ease. Highly recommended!!!!

It says a lot about who a person really is when they go thru secretaries every few weeks! Employees look miserable and she charges way too much for consultations. Terrible business!

Starting off fine but as the divorce case progressed started showing negligence and could never get in touch with her.

Unfortunately no stars in not an option. This is the most horrible deceitful woman I have ever seen. She does not care about clients or helping them. She cares about getting your money and not rendering the services promised to you. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go and waste your time and money on this devil woman!!!

Had the pleasure of working with Melissa on a family matter. She handled the case with respect and class. Expert strategist. She is open with her advice, as needed. Included me throughout the process. Very rapid responses. Highly recommend.

Do not trust the attorney that runs this office employment or otherwise. Before coming here I had a career which was basically my life. I have not been able to find other employment as a result of working here. Melissa did nothing but belittle me when I was there. She would say something about a client I happened to personally know and when I asked her why she said it she would say she never said that, to the effect of gaslighting me. All her clients constantly call angry and she blames her assistants that bend over backwards for her. On top of that, she bills for those calls. Ever since I've developed panic attacks and depression and every attorney in the area has heard negative things about me. Turn away and run.

Behind the scenes, this woman is awful. She talks bad about all of her clients and she will drop your case if your balance falls below a certain amount. All positive reviews are from certain secretaries she offers a bonus to for posting it and they eventually quit. If you hire her, don't expect to talk to a secretary more than a few times.

Do not i repeat do not waste your time at this law firm. Its ridiculous. The comment down below is a lie. Melissa told the entire world why I even consulted her office and made a very unprofessional statement about our encounter. I have screenshots to prove it! Again stay away.

My husband and I are new in town and looking for a family attorney. We came across The Franklin Law firm site and were appalled to see a lawyer discussing the details of a consultation with a client on a public forum! We will definitely not be choosing this firm to handle our legal affairs and will be advising others to steer clear as well.

Melissa is amazing! I highly recommend her to everyone. She won my case, no problem. Very thankful for her!
