Andy, got a great result for us when our mother died in a condo fire. I, her son am a builder, and I was renovating the condo when it caught fire. The condo association initially blamed me. We hired Andy to defend me. He proved it was the association's lack of chimney maintenance that caused the fire, and got our family a very large confidential monetary settlement. He's the best in my book.

Lost my house, but the streets aren't as bad as you think!

This law firm was in charge of closing when we sold our home. We are a military family stationed in Texas so we paid for a mail away closing. The home closed on Aug. 23 and we choose the option of having our check sent by FedEx overnight. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. On August 27, I sent Leeza an email asking for the tracking number. No response. We waited 24 hours and my husband called asking her for the tracking number. She stated she would call us back with the number. That didn't happen. My husband called again a few hours later with no response. That evening, I received a phone call from a very rude man. He stated instead he would wire the money. To make this story shorter, the money was deposited days later but guess what came in REGULAR USPS mail on Sept. 3? The closing check that we didn't even have to sign for. Inside was a printout of my email highlighted in pink were we requested FEDEX overnight. What a slap in the face. To make matters worse, the post date on the envelope from Columbia SC showed a date AFTER we had inquired about the missing check. This law firm mixed with ERA was a complete nightmare.

Aun and McKay grossly under estimated my taxes when I purchased the house causing me to have to pay almost $900 in shortages. Their response to me was "you signed that it was an estimate" and they did not care that their mistake caused me financial distress. Their first call to me was accusatory and made false claims and their email after they "looked" into my situation was rude and uncaring. I will not use their services in the future because I would not have purchased this house had they done their job correctly.

This review is for Mc Kay only. Aun is fabulous!! He closed my house and did a wonderful job. We hit some bumps in the road that he took care of very well. He's professional and caring. He deserves 5 stars. His partner, on the other hand, is awful! Does not listen to your needs, gets annoyed when you ask questions...even refuses to answer them and personally insults you if you dont just "do what he says"! Last I checked, he gets paid by me, so I should have the right to question my case and get things explained along the way. He disagrees. He's rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and abrasive. He has no place practicing family law...that's a sensitive field involving children, and he's completely insensitive. He even got important facts wrong while in court and ran out the door after a temporary ruling...no debriefing. Left us very confused. We finished the case with a different, much better attorney. DO NOT HIRE.
