My son was caught speeding (47/35) in the town of Turbeville, a known speed trap. South Carolina reports points to NY (this was 4 points) where we live, so I called Mr. Lord who was amazing. Ray Lord was very quick to obtain my business for a traffic ticket. After talking to a couple of lawyers I settled for him, BAD MISTAKE! In his original "sales pitch" to me he said most of the time he gets tickets re-written to non-moving violations, and sometimes he can get the ticket dismissed entirely. Well, 2 days prior to my court date he messages me and says while he was in the area he went ahead and "took care" of my ticket, having it reduced a mere 3mph. Folks, be awfully careful, this guy is a crook. Like another person said, good luck on getting him to respond for clarification, wont happen. I got a ticket in SC on my way to NC from FL. It was a highway 95 speed limit 70mph, then suddenly trucks were putting beacons to begin construction with speed limit reduced to 45mph. I had braked after seeing the unexpected speed limit and it had reduced to 65mph, but it was too late, the police were hiding right there. I was worried of attending court at SC all the way from NC. Luckily, I got his letter on my mail. I contacted him, while he did not promise much he surprisingly did more than I expected. Everything was done online, and services were not expensive too. While we have lawyers, we have those that are lawyers of lawyers and that is ‘RAY’. While it is important to keep law, sometimes the unexpected happen. I highly recommend Ray, I got speeding ticket and I was looking for traffic lawyers and after got in contact with 6 law firms and received the quotes of all of them, Ray had the best profile and background and experience for traffic citations and one of the lowest quote that I received, he delivers what he says.

First of all, I would like to give thanks to God and Ray for helping me getting out of a ticket. No points were added and my insurance didn’t go up at all.
It all started when I saw driving to Myrtle Beach, SC with my pregnant wife (at the time she was 3 months pregnant, she’s now 6 months) and my daughter (at the time she was 6 months old and now she’s 9 months). We were heading down US 501 Highway and we were only 35 minutes away from Myrtle Beach when suddenly, we saw a highway patrol car make a U-turn and he started following behind us and the weird is that he turned on the lights for like 5 seconds and then he turned them off. So we kept going the same limit like everyone else, and after 5 minutes went by, the highway patrol car turned on it’s lights again and this time he told us to stop and pull up to the side of the road. He got out and came towards us and asked me for my license and registration, and since I wasn’t able to change the sticker of my license because I didn’t have the special tool to open the license plate, I had the new registration with the sticker in my hand and I think he stopped us because he probably thought we never changed it or anything. And once he saw that I had it, he got quiet and then he went back to his car and a few minutes later, he came back with a ticket saying I was speeding. But when he stopped me, he never told me the reason why. The speed limit was 60 and he said that I saw going 79 and that he dropped it down to 69. I was nervous to speak up and give him my opinion on the reason why he stopped me because I’ve seen some people speak up to cops and it makes things worse so I just went along with what he was saying and I didn’t want to ruin our vacation to the beach with my family. But to me, it didn’t make sense why I would go speeding when my wife’s pregnant and our daughter was months old. And after he gave me the ticket, he said it wasn’t necessary to get a lawyer and that I just can pay the ticket online. I like to keep my record clean and I don’t like the idea of having points because I know that makes your insurance go up. When we came back to NC, I looked up many lawyers and like 3 or 4 letters came in the mail. But when I received the letter from Lord Law Firm, I took my time and looked over the reviews and everything and I really liked what I saw. EASY to deal with. I sent in a photo of a speeding ticket I received in SC. Attorney Lord was VERY quick to respond. He had clear and transparent pricing with clear outcomes and expectations. He didn't over promise just said what the most likely outcomes were and what the expenses were and asked what my preferences were. Clear instructions at every step. Again VERY fast turnaround time with messages, documents, etc.

Other firms quoted me SLIGHTLY cheaper rates (about $40 all in) that were "all inclusive" but frankly since the non-moving violation is more costly and the one that ends up with some points on your license is less costly (in regards to court fees) and considering that these fees would be paid out of the attorney's flat fee - I preferred to stick with the separating the FEE from the FINE as Ray Lord does. I didn't care for the idea that the attorney kept more of the fee if I paid the lower fine but ended up with points. Just didn't seem like a good idea.

Was an out of state college student in SC and got a +25 mph ticket on my way home from school, which would've put 6 points on my license according to the cop. Ray got it reduced to a 1-10 mph ticket, no points on my license, and no insurance raise. The original fine on my ticket was $440, but Ray got it reduced to just $76. That was just icing on the cake.

Bottom line: Drove 30 mph over the speed limit and essentially walked away from it as if nothing ever happened after I paid the $76. That was all thanks to Ray's great job as my lawyer. Highly recommend, especially for out of state people since he does really well communicating with you and he essentially takes care of everything for you.

A beautiful day with optimal driving conditions in my beautiful Mustang, Bob Dylan on satellite radio. Was in the right lane and I could see brake lights in the distance near an approaching on ramp on I-95 in Ridgeland, SC. I accelerated to get into the left lane and was pulled over for doing 84/70.

The last time I received a citation, it took almost 15 mins. for the officer to check my license and hand write the ticket. It's been literally decades since my last citation. I was on my way in less than 5 mins. I stuffed it into an envelope with my travel receipts figuring I'd pay it when I got back home in two weeks. Two weeks later, I actually read the citation and that's when panic set in. It was a 4 point moving violation. We are on the good driver plan with our insurance company and the trial was in less than a week.

I made reservations and planned on driving 5-1/2 hours back to Ridgeland, SC to try and at least plead down the points. Started going through my mail and found a letter from the Lord Law Firm regarding the citation, offering to represent me. Didn't know that there were attorneys who specialized in traffic violations other than DUI's. I figured it wouldn't happen since the trial was less than a week away, but I e-mailed Mr. Ray Lord anyway to explore the option.
