His staff was great, they work as hard as he does, he's one of the best, hands down. If your doing something with a lawyer, it must be serious so y take a chance elsewhere. I recently drove a relative to this attorney’s office for a consultation regarding a medical procedure. Due to summer break, I did have my 5 year old son with me, however, having worked for two different attorneys’ offices and children occasionally accompanying their parent/guardian, I was told by his secretary my son couldn’t go into the meeting. I explained that I accompanied my relative so if she were confused by the legal jargon or other matters that I was there to clarify for her. The secretary then offered to watch my son while I accompanied my relative. Obviously, that did not happen because this young lady was a stranger and didn’t exactly have childcare credentials on her person for me to approve of. The attorney explained to my relative the legal process of what she desired to do, while clarifying that he was not her attorney, (obviously, since there wasn’t a retainer contract signed), and that after reviewing her medical charts, and researching her procedure that he would let her know whether or not he would accept the case. My relative finally received a call today from his secretary that he will not be taking her case. No explanation as to why and not even a response from the attorney himself. I was reminded why I have so little respect for most attorneys now. So few are in the profession for the right reasons.

After a speaking with Mr Knight on the phone he requested several documents all the while specifically informing me he was not hired as my attorney and he was not representing me. Which I thought was somewhat unprofessional given I had not provided his office with any money therfor I would not expect him to be my attorney. Robert Knight is by far the worst lawyer for any father that want to win custody of his kids. He didn't talk to me about my case, and only two weeks prior to my hearing did he try to contact me. Rob handled my case with assertiveness and class. I was amazed how he represented my case and got me what I wanted, while keeping it all out of court. The absolute best attorney and staff there is!

Robert was my attorney for my custody case. I won't go into detail but he more than did his job with doing what was best for my child. He worked hard and was honest the whole time and talked to me in a language I completely understood so I could follow what was going on. I couldn't be more thankful the person I put my faith in for my child's well being was him.

My story is a long one, but it's worth reading for anyone considering Robert as their attorney. I was deployed to Iraq with a National Guard unit based out of Minden, Louisiana. Days before my deployment I sat down with Robert to attempt to get custody of my 1 year old daughter at the time. This all took place in mid to early 2009.

Robert told me that generally whoever has physical custody of the child will have a better chance of keeping the child. I believed him, and my mother kept custody of my daughter while I deployed. Robert did his work, and I was granted custody in my mother's name while I was deployed. Robert managed to keep custody with my mother the entire year I was gone. When I returned home Robert spent the next year and a half helping me progressively get more custody until I finally received sole custody and child support. This man helped me, a single father at 23 freshly returned from a war zone, get custody of a little girl.

He then went above and beyond to get me a favorable divorce. I sat down and cried in the car after leaving the hearing and knowing I wouldn't be a one weekend a month father like so many people I knew. I hold him in the highest regard and recommend him to anyone who will listen long enough for me to tell them my story.

It's 2017 and I am still in disbelief that he managed to help me the way he did. I feel like I owe this man my life. Robert if you're reading this all I can say is thank you. Hopefully I won't need you again, but if I do I'll be a client for life.

Hired him to do go to court for me and screwed me over. I'm a father that has to go on the road just to make ends meet, long story short, I pay $800 a month in child support to a woman who make it very hard for me to spend time with my kid.
