Well after reading some reviews on how good Mr Robinson was I decided to give him a try. I hadn’t seen my kids in 2 years at the time and I faithfully pay my child support. I went to Mr Robinson in hopes of putting a end to this and getting visitation set up and get my child support reduced because I make less. I parted ways with my previous attorney because he had no fight in him and just rolled over. Well my initial consultation was great and told me what I needed to hear. So I paid the law firm $2500 thinking I stood a fighting chance. Well after that is when things went south. The other side kept sending Affidavit of financial means, requests to see all my bills and bank statements. Treating this like a divorce. All I get from him is a “fill it out”. I filled out what I could but I was not presenting anything else. No need to. I tried to come up with a game plan with him and even requested we send the same thing and his response was “I’m not gonna go back and forth with a fool”. By then I’m like damn, well what am I paying you for. He never listened to my requests and all of the meetings were very short. I’d drive 60 miles just for a five minute meeting. Never once was I asked what I’d like to do. He was very blunt and was either his way or no way. Any ideas or complaints I had he just shook his head. Finally one day he replied “You’re the one who married her”. What a freak g response. I was extremely pissed at that point and knew which direction this was going. I had been duped out of more money. Court date comes and instead of presenting arguments or any evidence I had all he told me to do was sign their agreement and just keep track of days you’re not able to see kids. I’m like What!!!!! Hell I could have came and did this myself without a lawyer. And you know of course the agreement was not in my favor. Since I hadn’t seen my kids in a couple years and had already paid Mr Robinson I had no choice but to begrudgingly sign. I even asked about the child support modification and his response was “oh I didn’t know you wanted one”. I had clearly made that point when I first retained him. By now I am furious. Once again I had been railroaded by a attorney who didn’t care. All we did was stand in front of the judge while the horrible agreement was read and signed off on it. And I asked him about arguing my points and he replied that he didn’t wanna be tied up in court the rest of the evening arguing back and forth. This was truly a waste of $2500. Maybe if it was a drug or murder case I may have gotten better results but his defense was horrible. I could have did better than that by myself. So to the ones who got good representation from him, be glad you did. My representation was non existent. If I could give a -5 I would. If you’re going for anything that has to deal with seeing your children I do not recommend him. He took my money and I didn’t get anything in return. It’s like you work for him and do what he says, he does not work for you. Please if you ever use him or any attorney at all and they don’t want to listen to what you have to say, run in the other direction. It will be time and money wasted.........
