Please Please know your options and don’t sign an agreement or generic form that’s already printed that protects the Lawyer versus the client. My experience with this law firm has really opened my eyes and I will make sure I educate everyone I know. If the agreement is only stating their percentage and nothing concerning where their percentage is coming from...that’s a problem! Be specific on your request and realize you hired them so therefore they work for you! The lawyer fees should ONLY come from the settlement check you received from the insurance company or the party responsible, make sure this is in your contract and if they don’t agree...walk away! You should NEVER leave a Law Office and they benefit more from the settlement than the client. Be watchful and mindful that everyone doesn’t have your best interest and if it’s something you don’t understand...DON’T SIGN IT! Stay Blessed
