He told me there was no way I could get a 6month extension for my cps case with my son and was persistent on me signing over my rights, when I did not want to Nor felt comfortable doing that, he even tried to make me feel bad about not signing my rights over telling me there is so many benefits for the plea to adopt him out.So I hired a new attorney went to court today got my 6month extension and the judge told me since I've made so much progress he wants to monitor me for 6 more months and wants reunification with me and my son! If you don't feel right about a situation follow your gut feeling especially if it involves your children.

I retained Mr. Asbill and felt that he never followed through. I had to constantly call him and it took 7 months and 3500 dollars to just get a court date. He is a nice guy but, seemed very unsure of how to handle my case. I always felt as though he never had time for me and was always rushing me. I felt he was not sure of how to handle my case and I am sure that we would have lost if I would have stuck with him. I had to sever ties with him and truly believe he owes me money which I know I will never see. I have since hired another Attorney and she has done more in one week than he did in 6 months and I have only called her one time. He may be a great lawyer on other cases of Law, but on my case he was subpar. I have since spoken with Mr. Asbill who refunded me some of my money and to be fair there was a misunderstanding on the information I recieved from him. Like I said he is a nice guy and very busy which explains alot . I was told he was a very good lawyer and I believe he is. Sometimes people just dont mesh.
