I’ve know Rocky my whole life and he is always a fiercely loyal fighter for his friends. He has never disappointed me. If you are in a legal situation and you’re in a fight with an insurance company you need a fierce friend like Rocky.

My husband and I were referred to Rocky following an accident. Like many (I’m sure) there could not have a worse time in my life to have encountered an accident, loss and the need for an attorney – all in the blink of an eye. Following our accident, the following months were among the worst in my life. I mention that because it is so crucial to find competent, trustworthy counsel who will truly fight for their client’s interest. And finally, I’d like to make a comment about his office staff - they too are superb, responsive, VERY kind, patient and helpful.

I think this "attorney" would have a much lower rating if more of the people he represented but disappointed would tell their stories. They may even be afraid to do so, (and with good reason, he can be terribly fierce if you question him and his tactics). So, yes, others may be afraid to speak out, however, I am not. Firstly, Potential Clients should be aware of signing the Fee Agreement or Contract, through which you will relinquish ANY input at all in the disposition of your case. The agreement states that he will be given a "Special Power-of-Attorney", which means he will make ALL the decisions on your case unilaterally, making decisions without your input, knowledge nor your consent. DO NOT SIGN THIS WITHOUT BLOTTING OUT THIS STATEMENT! (He did not explain the Contract to me, as I did not meet with him at the time I signed. This was done with one of his Clerks, who did not give an explanation of its meaning, either. I never met in person the Paralegal who was assigned to my case, and I never met him either, until months after he started "working" on my case.) "Working" is so stated, because what he did was sit on my case while I was paying out of pocket for medical treatment, and failed to properly consult with any of my doctors along the way. Then, when he finally acknowledged this, tried to blame the doctors for not giving him what he needed. I was going bankrupt waiting on him to settle my case (it took nearly 2 years). My Dad died during this time period, and this "attorney" crassly and unsympathetically tried to pressure me to agree to a settlement that was insufficient to cover the medical expenses which I had incurred, in a time when I was in deep mourning. It was nearing the 2-year mark, so he no longer cared if the case was handled properly and to my benefit. It was not. I wasted nearly two years of my life being unacknowledged, disrespected and misrepresented by this person. I do not recommend him for the foregoing reasons.
ADDENDUM: THIS "ATTORNEY" MADE A RESPONSE IN WHICH HE CITED HIS CLEARANCE BY THE STATE BAR OF TEXAS, WITH WHICH I FILED A FORMAL COMPLAINT FOR REVIEW OF HIS CONDUCT AND ACTIONS. LET ME POINT OUT THAT MR. HAIRE WAS IN NO WAY EXONERATED BY THIS STATE BAR REVIEW. WHAT HE RECEIVED WAS A "GET OUT OF JAIL CARD" BY A GROUP OF HIS PEERS WHO SEEM TO HAVE A PROPENSITY TO PROTECT ONE ANOTHER. MR. HAIRE SENT ME A LETTER STATING THAT HE HAD PAID CERTAIN ACCIDENT-RELATED EXPENSES ON MY BEHALF. THIS LETTER HAD PEN AND INK NOTATIONS OF SUPPOSED CHECK NUMBERS WHICH WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN USED TO MAKE THE ALLEGED PAYMENTS. I SAY ALLEGED BECAUSE WHEN I ASKED MR. HAIRE TO VERIFY THESE ALLEGED PAYMENTS, HE DID NOT (AND COULD NOT) DO SO. THEN IN THE NEXT 3-6 MONTHS, I ACCUMULATED PROOF THAT NONE OF THE ALLEGED PAYMENTS HAD EVER BEEN MADE. THAT IS WHY MR. HAIRE COULD NOT VERIFY NOR DOCUMENT THE PAYMENTS AS I HAD REQUESTED. IN FACT, MR. HAIRE WAS STILL IN POSSESSION OF MY MONEY. IT TOOK ME ALMOST THE REST OF THE YEAR TO GET MY MONEY RELEASED TO ME, VIA COMPLAINTS TO BOTH THE STATE BAR AND ITS COMPLAINT RESOLUTION UNIT. MR. HAIRE ACTED UNSCRUPULOUSLY IN MY CASE. ANY POTENTIAL CLIENTS, JUDGE AS YOU MAY.

WORST experience with these new ppl. Went on May 29 to sign a contract with him called mid April to hear some kind of status. That they couldn't find my contract. So that's the first negative part. How do you lose that? I gave them all the information from the person that hit me. Phone number, ID, Insurance. Etc. Well that they just haven't heard from the B**** that wrecked my car. I feel like he deff didnt even try to win my case. So he recommended me going to a chiropractor.

But now since he didnt even try to win my case. Guess who has to pay my Bill's? I would call once a week, because no one never call me back.

Worst Experience ever! I was rear ended n March 5, 2019, so I contacted Haire Law and spoke with Kady Finley, signed he contract and waited. That was the last action taken on my case by the firm until I received a release letter on April 3, 2019. No explanation, no warning, no communication, nothing. DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FIRM. My advise would be to find a lawyer that actually cares and works for you.

I needed a lawyer who would get my case turned around. It wasn't a very big case but it was important to me. I was treated like family, Mr. Haire got the insurance company to pay more than I expected. I was happy with him and his firm!

I received a settlement check from his firm and it bounced in my account! I've called 2 times and emailed over the last two years trying to find out what was going on with my settlement money. He finally calls me back and sends me $500 keeping more than 60% claiming some was for postage. I'm pretty sure the two letters I got didn't cost $2,300. Also, he showed up to our settlement in jeans and a wrinkled shirt and looked like he had been out drunk the night before. DO NOT USE HIS FIRM!

If I could rate this so called firm less than a 1-star I would. DO NOT USE THEM!!! He only cares about you if he stands to make a LOT of money. Otherwise you will never know where your case stands, have no idea what to expect next, and he will not fight to get you anything. He showed up to our mediation in a wrinkled untucked polo looking like he hadn't showered in three days. I think he is why bad lawyer jokes were made. His office is a joke and his staff are even worse. They will talk down to you and make you feel stupid for asking whats going on. Want a call back? Not likely left them messages for a week once and didn't get a call for over a month. Unless you want to deal with a swarmy used car salesman type lawyer STEER CLEAR!!!
