Family Adoption, Emily done an outstanding job. We were required to keep an on going balance of $2500.00 at all time's and would receive a check of any remaining funds at the end. When the case was final we went through the billing and we were charged twice on a couple of items. When it was brought to their attention it was corrected. You should keep a better eye on your billing. When the billing was corrected with the final refund we were told one dollar amount and received a different dollar amount a difference of $250.00. The case was final in December of 2018 had to call every week about refund and was promised it would go out every Friday and just received the check in February 2019 with a back dated invoice explaining the difference of the refund.
I know none of this was Emily's fault and she is an outstanding lawyer and would use her again on any legal advise I would need and have recommended her to several friends.

I don’t usually do reviews but considering the gravity of the situation I was in relative to the solution that was brought forward, I am very happy. I’m 24 years old and have zero experience with a process like this. Like most, I was very intimidated by the process. Who do I call? How does it work? What are my chances? What is it going to COST?

Found a lawyer beforehand that was cheaper... quite a bit cheaper. However, I fealt like he really didn’t care and was speaking at me rather than really understanding MY case. I found McCarty online. calling and scheduling a visit was EASY. People were NICE. He spent time with me and answered all my questions. It took one visit for me to decide I wanted to proceed.

It took about a year (because the DA office just doesn’t have it all together I suppose) but we finally got my case dismissed. Besides the financial burden an unexpected expense like this has, the process was simple. I was contacted several times throughout the months to get updates and they really work with you as far as what you can pay.

I had a DWI , he was not my attorney but I wanted him to take my case for my interlock removal. Had a consultation with him last year , he told me to give him a call in January.
I’ve called his office a good 3-5 times never got a call back. If he didn’t want to take my $$ and take my case, that’s fine just tell me. Don’t say he’ll give me a call back and he never does. Very disappointed

I have been working with Emily Hindman for nearly a year on a criminal misdemeanor case for my son. She always made time to talk to me and if she was busy she was prompt to return my calls. It didn't matter how big or small my question or need was. She did everything she could to calm my fears and my anxiety. Emily had a way of making me feel like she truly cared about what our family was facing every time i spoke with her. During this last year i have worked with several attorneys concerning my som but she was the only one who took the time to make me feel l like my he was a person to her and not just a folder on her desk.

This time last year I hired Mr. McCarty to handle my case in Ellis County. The offers I was receiving in court not pleasant to hear. This was at the time almost a 3 yr old case. I called this office and left a message based off of another google review I saw. My divorce/custody case was messy from a previous attorney that didn’t do his job and I had been going through that for 2 years. I was in desperate need for help and guidance. Family Case

We hired Emily for a step parent adoption. She did an amazing job. I can truly say that Emily went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and throughly explained the entire process step by step. The entire staff is wonderful. I am from CA and my son had gotten into some trouble out in TX (DWI-level B) Not knowing anybody and having to rely on YELP or Google for reviews was nerve wrecking. My son's friend "Lobster" told us about Robin McCarty. Right away, I got on the phone and called them. They assured me they would do their very best in closing my sons court case quick. It was a little scary going to court not ever meeting our attorney in person, but that didn't pose a problem.
Robin found us in the waiting area and took it from there. Showed up to court and that same day Robin was able to reduce the charge and have the case closed. No more back and forth for us. Emily and Bria helped me in a family case of getting joint custody of my daughter back recently. Emily Hindman was our attorney, representing us in the adoption of our daughter. She was amazing. She was not only competent and professional, she treated us like we were the most important people on the planet. She was attentive to our desires and timely in all her responses. Robin is an excellent salesman. I interviewed 3 attorneys to represent me. Robin promised so much I thought he was the best and delivered on none of his promises. During office visits he had no clue who I (his client) was. At the court hearing his assistant had to tell him my name and he left early, leaving me with a random attorney to accept my plea with the judge. He had no problem charging me a pretty penny though.

To clarify on the promises. Fine was promised to be cut in half, community service hours lessened, and probation term shortened. None of the above were lowered. Not sure what exactly Robin did? Filed the proper paperwork, I guess.
