After 2 years of representing myself in a child custody case where the Judge took all matters into consideration I was given standard visitation with no supervision. I unfortunately got Ken Leggett as a court appointed attorney and in a separate case Ken and a Assistant District Attorney worked togeter and offered me a one sided deal with many stipulations including supervised visitation till my daughter turned 6. How an Assistant DA can over rule a Judge I have no idea but that's what I got with Ken as my attorney. I took the deal cause Ken told me after at least a year of good behavior on my probation he would request the Judge remove that condition on my behalf. Well 15 months later I made that request and Ken told me he was too busy and that the Judge wouldn't consider it anyway. Working with Ken was an absolute nightmare and I decided to post a review about it as you'll see being completely honest about what happened and my opinion on how things worked with him as my attorney. Anyone who has had him appointed to them could probably tell you the exact same thing. Anyways after reading my review Ken decided to withdraw from my case and is telling me I need to hire another attorney to finish what he told me he would do. I thought attorneys were supposed to have integrity but I guess not. If your looking to hire an attorney or if he is appointed to you I would highly highly recommend you look elsewhere.

Havent had a very good experience with this attorney. He is hard to talk to, always talks over you, doesnt listen to you, and constantly interupts you when you speak. Whether you have a strong case or not he seems like he doesnt want to take it to trial only wants to take a plea deal. The plea deal he got for me was completly one sided with no lesser charges, no dissmisals, and lots of contigencies some even unfair. Dont bother asking him to help you with anything cause he will either tell you he is too busy or the Judge wont listen to your requests. It definetly seems like he works for the DA and pushes his demands on you with hardly anything in return. I wouldnt recommend this attorney and if he is court appointed Good Luck cause your gonna need it.
