Five stars is a serious understatement when were talking about David Black. There is so much good things to say, you may want to get your reading glasses, it's going to be a long one. First and foremost, call David, talk to David, get represented by David. Its that simple. This isn't Lerner and Rowe. The man the firm is named after will be the man leading you into battle. I called several lawyers and David was by far the least expensive. By a good amount too. After speaking with him and Bill a few times on the phone, I became very confident in them representing me. In an attempt to not accumulate Mass amounts of legal fees, I offered 75% of the rate they gave me, paid in full, same day. I figured it was worth a shot. To my surprise, he accepted! If I knew then what I know now, I would have offered David 25% more than the original rate he gave me, instead of 25% less. He is worth it, and then some. I do not encourage or recommend negotiating, haggling or partaking in this type of behavior because David is very fair with his pricing, you get more lawyer than you pay for. He deserves every last bit of it too. I actually feel bad because I feel like I underpaid him and got the best of him. Even with a highly discounted rate, David did not sacrifice his dedication or efforts. His work ethic will have you saying to yourself "wow, I wasnt expecting him to do that" he does not cut corners. His analyzation of every detail is impeccable. He actually had a better recollection of my arrest than I did- he was reminding me of things I did that I didnt even know about. He gives every case the attention required to give him the best opportunity at winning. He genuinely enjoys finding and working his angle. Before my trial he said to me, "i just wanna let you know, you most likely will get a conviction" which I knew it wasnt looking good for me. In april 2017 I was in my truck with the key in the ignition and the truck running. I had drugs in me and on me. The cops found me and subsequently, I refused the blood test to test if I had drugs in my system. I'm pretty screwed right? If you refuse the blood test that's a mandatory one-year suspension of your license. Well, what you thought were the rules aren't the rules anymore when you got David Black on your team. Surprisingly, he had my license reinstated within weeks. It is now October 2018, David has rode this case with me this whole time and guided me every single step of the way. He has been completely proactive and attentive. He has made this process painless and has definitely put forth more work than he was compensated for. He is without question worth way more than I gave him. The reason/outcome? David just killed it and got me acquitted on 2 DUI charges!!! NOT GUILTY. I am so excited and pleased that I stopped everything and pulled into CVS parking lot to write this. He didn't ask me to. I have spent nearly 45 minutes on this review and not only did I enjoy every second of it, but it was totally worth it and the least I could do. My only regret is not bringing a voice recorder to my trial, thats the only advice I would like to give to his clients. Every time David spoke I was like damn, I wish I recorded that, it couldn't have been said any better. David spits fire in the courtroom.

Three days before my son turned 18 he was arrested for shooting a gun within city limits. Things were extra complicated due to the gun coming back stolen and having a small amount of marijuana on him. He was arrested for 7 different offenses- All were felonies.

My family and I sought out the help of Mr. David Black when a family member of ours (I'll call him Jr. for the sake of privacy) found himself in some serious trouble, with numerous criminal charges pinned against him.

Initially, Jr.'s very own public defender was confident he was looking to serve the minimum of 25 years. The very first judge he stood before was very strict she and told the prosecution his charges would get him 50 years in prison. And that was almost his fate, with only one court date left until the judge made her decision, that is, until we, his family, decided to help him seek out new representation.

We knew that with his public defender there wasn't a chance of freedom for at least a quarter century, so we researched the internet, made many phone calls, and finally came across a lawyer who listened, was sympathetic, and actively wanted to help and get started right away. He took the case at a moment's notice, and if he hadn't done that, Jr. would still be in prison today.

Because of Mr. David Black, Jr.'s sentence was a maximum of 2 years total with a plea. If he'd gone to trial he was looking at a minimum of 7 years had he lost. The prosecution was strong because of details in the case and the criminal charges against Jr.

David has been my go to attorney since 2011. Honestly I refer to him as a gift from God, my first case was proving my innocence; my word against two officers, had two paid attorneys and a public defender in the first 15 months of the case. I literally contacted the entire white pages criminal defense section, I had an obligation to myself to find the best representation for the sticky situation I found myself in. Odds were stacked against me, yet despite circumstances, fact remained I was wrongfully accused and trial was my only option. Horrible. I had a time frame to do something and they said they would get back to me that day. They didn't and left me hanging which put me in a really tight spot. I even called back to remind them of my time schedule and said if they can't do it they need to let me know and they assured me they would take care of it.

I was arrested in Mesa and was scared to death. I'd never been in trouble before and had no idea what to do or who to call or even what to expect. After calling a few other offices I tried calling David Black. I was surprised after having gotten only answering services that he actually answered the phone.
