Colin was absolutely amazing! What we thought to be almost an impossible case, turned out to work 100% in my families favor . Each meeting felt completely dedicated to my case, no questions were unanswered and I did not feel like I was mislead at any part of the process.

I do not recommend Shawnna Riggers. Please do your research on an attorney who will care about you, your child and your case and not only about the money. I hired her in 2016, she was paid up front and she only appeared to the initial hearing. She showed no real interest in my concerns but very agreeable with the opposite party. My case literally almost went downhill during her representation. I had to terminate with her representation because she was on vacation and had nothing prepared before the hearing but instead used the excuse "you won't be able afford my representation if we go further" only assuming. She was initially paid everything in full, even paid for calls I made to her in which she wasn't of any help to provide guidance or proper advice. Most of the representation, I felt alone and always looking for other attorneys advice. It was just the worst experience ever, specially when your talking about your child. I'm glad I found another attorney who did care and my case ended in my favor. This law firm was just a waste of time and waste of money the only thing gained was stress.

They were fantastic in our adoption with our foster children. We also used her for our adoption when my husband adopted my own children. They were amazing, she was very quick and precise on her paperwork. She's wonderful at answering any and all questions. She really knows the laws. Shes very knowledgeable!!

Shaunna Riggers was our adoption attorney and this was my first kid I've ever adoptes. Easy to work with

We worked with Shawnna who is very professional and personable. If we were to need services again we would not hesitate to have her help us.

She’s a lazy attorney who doesn’t show up for court dates because of “stay ‘cations”. Pretty shallow as a human, and really not interested in practicing law. Therefore, everything, including your case, Solely revolves around her ego.

For the last year Laura and Amanda have had my back and gone to bat for me with my ex and her attorney. They exceeded all my expectations and I couldn't be happier. BEWARE!!!! This law firm only wants your money. They do NOT care about your case. You will have little to NO contact with them. Laura went to ONE hearing in Pima county and they are now dropping my case and charging me almost $5000 for a transfer to a different county. This firm does not care about you and will not fight for you! You won’t even be able to get a hold of them. I made the BIGGEST mistake hoping they would turn over an emergency order for my daughter who has been taken from her mother with no record and put in the hands of her abusive convicted felon father. I have raised her all her life and now having to “schedule” calls and in the worst position ever! If I could give negative stars I would!!!! DO NOT hire them if you are going through custody battles!!!!! Absolute crooks!!!!

I am adding to my last review on how crooked and deceiving these lawyers have been. Upon paying $200 for a consultation with Shawna Riggers, I was in desperate need of representation and in shock my daughter was taken from me, this was an emergency order with no notice from her father, I had a week to find a lawyer. At the consultation with Riggers she reviewed the order and her first comment was about my ex's lawyer, Carrie Cravatta, she said to me "Oh, I know Ms. Cravatta I currently have another case with her." This tone and comment she had made me believe that was a rival lawyer to her. Upon further review of the order and the evidence I had, she made it seem like I had good evidence to back up my ex's claims, she even quoted "they can suck it." So i was pretty confident going into the emergency hearing. But Laura Chapman was the one who represented me. Upon meeting Laura at court she saw Ms. Cravatta and told me that her and Ms. Riggers are really good friends. After court, Chapman withdrew from my case and is trying to charge me another $2700 on top of the $3700 I already paid them. They did not fight for me, I still have no court date and no lawyer for this case. It is like they played this game so Shawna's "friend" can win a case. DO NOT HIRE THESE DECEIVING CROOKS!!!

Shawnna Riggers is an amazing attorney, she is passionate and very caring. She is the attorney that handled my case, she was there every step of the way, assuring me that everything would be ok. She answered all my questions without hesitation. Even though this whole thing was stressful and overwhelming she comforted me and did this with me. If I had to do this again, I would choose her hands down. Oh and may I add, her entire team is just as amazing. They all totally committed themselves. I don't even know where to start! Shawnna Riggers and her team are incredible in every way! Even though I live on the other side of the country, she went out of her way to assist me with a guardianship case for my grandson who was originally from AZ. Although she initially felt I wouldn't need her services, she still gave her time and knowledge to guide me. She was so kind and understanding and went above and beyond to ease my concerns and make legal recommendations. I did eventually retain her services and she adjusted her fee (a significant reduction) based on what she thought I would need. After that, she ended up reimbursing most of the retainer. I would have paid her DOUBLE for the peace of mind that she provided for me...but she gave me my money BACK. She still reaches out to me to find out how the case is going in my state. This is a person (and team) who are ethical (yup, I said it...this LAWYER is ETHICAL) and truly concerned with doing the best for the families they represent. Do not hesitate to contact them! Laura Chapman and Amanda Dickey are the greatest. They have both effortlessly assisted me with my family court case and i couldn’t have asked for two more better professional individuals. Lauri (the financial accountant) was also extremely easy to work with. She was flexible with attorney fee payments and the overall relationship was amazing.

One day I was eating lunch in the middle of a perfectly normal work day. When I looked out on the porch and saw a woman who was obviously in distress. Not physically but emotionally and spiritually for sure. I felt God tell me, "She needs a friend" so I introduced myself. Fast forward 7 years. She passes away leaving instruction for me to care for her teen-ager. I had no idea what to do... but God did. She was by my side fighting 2 separate interested parties who had more legal standing than I did. The child's father and her maternal uncle. Shawna never wavered. She said to me many times, "I have no doubt that child is right where she belongs!" And she made the judge see that too. I am eternally grateful for the time and effort she put into our case and am proud to announce that due to Shawna's relentless pursuit of justice, we now have a brand new bouncing teenaged girl!

Lost a lot of time with this law firm and had to drive most of the case myself and was provided with poor to little strategic advise. Left a lot of money on the table and felt firm did not have the best interest of my case, but more the other party. Examples of non performance included, not providing proper disclosure on the law, not answering emails, missing appointment times, not following up on multiple request to position case, not moving on critical information as requested. My only final choice was terminating my case with this firm and moving to another law firm.

Every question I had was answered more than sufficiently by Mrs. Chapman. I have the utmost belief that they will go to any extent necessary to get my daughter back for me if need be. Obviously if you're seeking legal counsel for family matters, life isn't great at the moment but this was an overall great experience. Thanks, in no small part, to the unbelievably friendly and caring secretary, Ms. Edwards, who made me feel welcome from the moment I first called. Thanks AZ family law!
