My daughter was rear ended last year and suffered a fractured vertebrae. I told her to call Hastings and Hastings. Big mistake! Her attorney never returned call until she raised a stink. The other insurance company kept coming up with excuses not to settle, kept saying there was previous injury. There was no previous injury (supposedly 5 or more years ago) so they don't want to pay anything. Previous injuries have nothing to do with a current injury. her lawyer just sent off the paperwork and never fought for her. Now he tells her the offer is "take it or leave it". She wants to take it to court and she "can't". I hope they redeem themselves, at which point I will let you know, but as it stands now, we won't use them again.

Let me start by saying I've been a repeat client of Hastings and Hastings. Instead of having to worry about my injury claims in both of my accidents, I was able to focus on the more important thing-- getting better! My attorney Sean Hennick and the rest of the law firm were great at answering all my questions (and I had a lot of them, because like most people the world of car accidents and insurance is something I never had to deal with). At the end of both cases, I was really happy with the results. Although I'd never hope anyone was hurt in an accident, if they were I would tell them to go straight to Hastings and Hastings.

I was in a car accident last November. A coworker recommended Hastings& Hastings and a specific lawyer. I called for an appointment with that lawyer.I was given an appointment with a different lawyer but I assumed the two lawyers worked closely together. I came in and after waiting 15 to 20 minutes, attorney Laura Wagner came in and proceeded to tell me how they wouldn't help with my vehicle but would help with my injury claim. At the time I was in too much pain to do any additional research so I readily agreed to the terms. I would wait months to hear from my lawyer and I was rarely contacting without me making the initial request to be contacting. I was told to keep a record of all my expenses including time without pay and send to my lawyer, which I did, on a regular basis. When Ms. Wagner finally sent me the information the law firm was sending to the insurance co, the only expenses that were including were my visits to the doctors. The statement Hastings sent to me said to contact them if I wanted to make any changes. I did, only to be told by the assigned paralegal that Hastings had very little of my expense records (Laura Wagner or the paralegal responded to every single one of the emails with the documentation attached) and that the documentation for the most part didn't really matter anyway. I collected the paperwork for several months and now the paperwork doesn't matter? To make matters worst, the paralegal working on my case changed three times, and I get a letter in the mail telling me I have a different lawyer more than six months after my original claim. Now I am at the finishing line and I go to sign my settlement letter (after Hastings claimed they had been trying to reach me all week, at the number they always had and used before, and was now suddenly incorrect) and I am told the money has to be held in a trust for 10 days. It has been more than 10 days and I have called and emailed Hastings and I have received no responses. Everyone (family, friends, coworkers) keeps asking me how case is going and I tell them about my negative experiences. I will never recommend Hastings and Hastings Law firm to anyone!!!!!!
