I don’t agree to place any ratings at this time, but I’m desperately trying to get your attention because once again we’re supposed to have an important meeting - this afternoon, Sunday, Jul 14 - but I haven’t heard back from you. Hope you didn’t have another accident again. Really concerned.

I had "Shannon" if that's what she is going by now. Do my taxes. I got them back but they smelled like cat pee and boons farm wine.

I went to Fed-Up Legal Solutions approximately November 2018 for filing a
a summons for divorce. Shannon the paralegal new that my wife was granted
jurisdiction in another state but convinced me that I could get jurisdiction. Not so
I found out. Only an appellate court can do that. She deceived me and never should have taken the case. Shannon is very greedy. She only cares about the money and new clients. Everyone that has given her one star is absolutely telling
the truth.

1. She charged me initially $800 to file divorce papers. She never should have taken the case because she knew we would never get jurisdiction but never told me.

2. Papers she prepared were missing significant amounts of important information. That I corrected.

3. She files the paperwork in the wrong County. Luckily I caught it.

4. She convinced me for another $1800 she would take my case as a special project. She would handle all paperwork until my case was closed.

5. Once she received full payment the avoidance and deception began. She would not answer phone, text or email. She cancelled our weekly standing appointments or would run out her side door and get in her car and take off.
I caught her several times doing this. She’s full of excuses.

6. She was supposed to file an injunction to stop my wife from spending money.
She never did it.

7. She charged me $400 for a transcript she never ordered and kept the money.

8. She charged me $400 for grant deeds she never ordered and kept the money.

9. She told me that I didn’t have to make an appearance for a restraining order matter. Didn’t do her due diligence to me and I lost the case.

10. She was supposed to file a response to a Motion to Quash. SHE NEVER DID IT.

11. She said she would coach me before court appearances. She never did it

12. She said she would get an attorney for me but not until a week before court to save me money. She deliberately waited until the day before to give me the name of Attorney Gary Austin her protégé who wanted to charge me $5000. RIPOFF.

13. She convinces new clients to submit a positive review of her before they find out what she’s really like to offset all the negative reviews. More deception.

14. She won’t return my files.

All together I spent $3600 for nothing but pain and suffering. I’m a disabled veteran with very limited finances. Shannon took advantage of me. She knew my situation and disability. She’s heartless and greedy. She’s unprofessional and inconsiderate.

I would not recommend using this business. It’s a RIPOFF.

This is completely unacceptable. It is close to almost two years and I am still not divorced. We finished everything last October and Shannon said she would refile the returned judgement in November. Nothing happened. I called again after the holidays and Krystal and Shannon said that there was a delay in court but Shannon were sending a runner the next day and will call me once it was submitted. However, that didn't happen either. I have left dozens of messages, text and called. I don't appreciate the fact I trusted Shannon to "see this through till the end" as she stated.

I just want my divorce to be done and over with.

I would not recommend her services if you are looking for someone more proactive with their clients.

WONDERFUL! Fed-Up gets the job done!! I could not believe how quickly they were on top of things. I came in because I needed to change my custody/visitation order and do it without my support changing. Shannon exceeded expectations, beyond exceeded! I got everything I asked for, support stayed the same, plus I received additional support! This is the first time I was excited to go to court! RECOMMEND TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE! p.s. don't put value in the spammers making negative comments, this business is great!

My son and I went to Shannon for assistance with divorce. In the beginning it started out ok, however, not long after the communication got quiet. It took weeks for her to respond back to me and when she did, I got reasons of: she was very sick, or she was in the hospital, or she was at the hospital because of a sick family member, etc. When it came to paying for the services, she overcharged me by $100. When I tried to get it back, she stated she would credit it right away...nothing, then she would send a check...nothing. then she stated she would have it delivered via delivery service...nothing. A few months later, I went in the website and found that the divorce had received judgement. I emailed for the documents...no response. my son's ex-mother in law has tried to get the documents as well, was advised she would email them to her a few times...nothing. when emailed or text regarding this information... shock...NO REPLY!!!!! Worst service ever!!!

Shannon is the best! I started my divorce procedure six months ago knowing nothing about family law paperwork. I tried to do it on my own but it was overwhelming and the process itself was stressing me out. After my first encounter with Shannon I felt a huge sense of relief since she is very knowledgeable and professional. I recommend Shannon Highfield to anyone that doesn't even know where to start in a family law case. I guarantee she can answer any question or concern you might have as I had plenty and she's been there for me guiding me every step of the way. I wish I would have called her sooner I would have avoided a lot of mistakes I made at the begging of my process. Since she always keeps me up to date, I know where I stand and what we need to do to get what I want out of this divorce.

Shannon is smart and caring and will be honest with you if your case is too complicated - but has been working in the IE court system for so long that she knows all of the best lawyers to recommend. She helped me with a case that was completely cut and dry (just needed the paperwork filed for the court to stamp) - but that other lawyers wanted to hassle with. She had all of the documents perfectly prepared with post-its marking all of areas to sign. She also had them filed for me at an extremely reasonable rate. I always recommend her to my friends and family and am so glad she has a cool new office. :)
