I don't usually give bad reviews because I understand sometimes we may just encounter a business that had a day where things just went south. Now If I experience just awful service or people I will give a review, and this is a time I have to write a bad review. To make a long story short I wanted to get help preparing a legal separation, I spoke with the owner Derek Herbert to ask his fee and give him my personal details for the document preparation. The first thing that bothered me was his question of why I just didn't push for a divorce, and he questioned that quite a few times over our correspondence. I still decided to move forward with the separation documentation and meet with Mr. Herbert to pay him ($400) and set a date to get the documents all done, no contract just trying to trust a small veteran business. I did change my mind before the documents were even prepared because I was sent on a last minute deployment in November, which I am still currently gone. When I was finally able to contact Mr.Herbert after a month to let him know that I cannot legally get separated while deployed and I just want a refund and I would handle things once I return. He said he would have no problem getting me my money back, he took two weeks to refund half of the $400 I paid him which I was sent via Zelle. Then the other half promised to refund in a few weeks via Zelle. It is now February and Mr. Herbert has had excuse after excuse. It is hard to call or text on a regular from my location, but as a current military member and Mr. Herbert being a veteran himself it really sucks that he would do this to me. I just need help with preparing documents but that service was not done even though it was because I changed my mind. I know that I will probably never get my $200 that is owed to me but I just want others to know that the owner Mr. Herbert and this company for legal services is not trustworthy.

Very pleased with the help I've had in the past; hoping for a good outcome for my next go-round.
