I chose Peter based on 3 criteria: Experience (he has over 30 years - mostly DUI in Vista and surrounding areas), Reviews (he has excellent reviews), and education (he went to UC Berkeley School of Law). I was involved in a DUI accident/Injury and arrested for a felony. I called Peter and he was extremely experienced and laid out the factors that the DA would be taking into consideration for a plea. My BAC was .22 and it didn't look very promising. Peter worked with me to develop a strategy for which the DA would understand my facts and circumstances and character. The result was a plea to a reduced charge of non-injury DUI misdemeanor with a stipulated BAC of .19. My fellow attorney friends were surprised at this (I went to law school) and a probation of 3 years (it is regularly 5 years)! A few months ago I was involved in the biggest mistake of my life, the cold hard truth of facing a DUI. I have never been arrested and or been involved criminal activities. You see, I did something really dumb: I crashed my brand new M4 while drag racing.

And my BAC was over .1%.

To make matters worse, I had a friend in the car who ran right before the cops showed up (and they were PISSED when they figured out someone had fled the scene.)

When I met with Peter last month, he had a level of experience that only comes with age and experience. It was really scary, and automatically I was going to be convicted with a DUI Felony. I was absolutely terrified because I had a clean record and now I was going to get a Felony! Peter Liss is the man! im not sure what this person is talking about him being two faced, he was very up front and proffessional. i got a dui on the 4th of july (i'm 19), i called peter he was very helpfully and comforting, he got my dui down to a wet n reckless AND I STILL HAVE MY LICENSE, he KNOWS what he is doing and does it very very well, he knows the vista courts aswell as the judges and works very hard on the case you bring to him. he makes you fell like you are his only customer.
