He is emotionally insensitive to what people are going through during the bereavement process. He did not offer any advice or strategy for how to approach my trust issues. He was always unavailable, not responsive to emails. He charged a fortune to remind me about money, ignore me, and not do anything. I replaced his services after only a month. Why have a lawyer who is going to treat you that way?

If you think writing your name and wishes on a piece of paper is the right route for your estate plan, then you have to call Max. We were advised that this would be an acceptable route, however, Max informed us that we are still likely to have to go through probate, which could cost 5-10X as much as having Max take care of everything for us. He had a flat rate, which was great! It was nice to know exactly how much everything was going to be. Also, he provided a flow chart that easily explained how the trust would work so that it wasn't totally in legal jargon. Thanks Max for making things so easy!
