I bought property this year in rent control area and one of the tenant behaved crazy. She is over 60 y.o. and had lived there for about 8 years. She had harassed previous landlord and ripped off money more than $9000 because she got injured inside of the property or because her imaginary parking space had been occupied by other tenant, etc. Once I purchased the property, she started to harass me and tried to threat me for money. First off, in civil landlord/tenant issues, it seems as though he caters more toward tenants. I get that. What I don't get is the attorney taking money for a civil suit he never intended to fight for. People need to realize that not all landlords are bad or what they like to call "slumlords". His focus was not on the right place; yet it should be more to aggressively fight for his clients, that includes landlords, so if you're a landlord, I'd look elsewhere. He's surrounded by rent-control jurisdictions and clients, so his main focus and experience seems to be on those issues (in regards to landlord/tenant). Even after family members (landlords) have physical/tangible evidence and witnesses to contradict the other party, his eyes were not focus on our truth; we hoped he would fight to take the mask off the other party. But it's okay, with Faith, our family will fight this battle.

I had a pending case with them, it started pretty good and all and the promises they made seemed to be so true until later on when things turn around for you and they lack on calling you back to keep you updated on how your case is going. I’m glad I closed my case because if I continued it on forth, I would of got way less then what I got now which was still nothing according to another attorney..I had consulted after my case was done, and to be honest I still don’t feel good from my injury and the doctors they probably provided were terrible. They went ahead and used the workers comp doctors instead them referring to their own doctors.. if you want to find a good attorney, look somewhere else guys.
