Scott, I am doing everything in my power not to call you back as I know you are busy! But want to say: Your true calling is not nasty law..its in counseling us mere mortals who believe in common sense and DO know right from wrong..that that has little to do with the law! Counseling the traumatized from the legal system who harshly awaken to the cold hard fact how truly unjust, uncaring, and absurd the law /legal process can be! Just read reviews of how hard it is just to get an attorney to listen to you..yet alone take a case that may not make him/her wealthy. I truly see a place for such service, because most of us average folk still believe that life is fair! And get hurt to find out differently. A counseling service to cope with that would be over flowing and is a brilliant idea! (We will still disagree that it can't be harassment if someone trying to extricate themselves from a situation)..but your keen legal opinion /advice very much appreciated! An exceptional attorney with care and sympathy. I had to consult Mr. Scott McMillan for a case. I am not a big fan of going to court back and forth as it seems difficult to trust lawyers these days. However, Scott made me feel very comfortable and helped me with his broad knowledge with all the options. He advised me to handle my case by myself and answered every question i had thoroughly. We finished the consultation that lasted over an hour until closer to 7 pm at night with no charge, and it did not end until he provided all the assistance and the assurance he could. If i will have to build such a case, Scott McMillan will be my first option.

(10/2017) I found Scott by looking at on line reviews on AVVO. I had called three other attorneys that were not interested in my case and told me I didn't have a chance. When I met with Scott, he listened and even though he did not promise that I had a case, he thought that I had at least a chance of prevailing. I liked the fact that he was very blunt and straightforward about what I could and could not do in my case and what would be helpful and what would not be helpful. We had our initial meeting and the next day he called me with some more thoughts on the case and how he thought I should preceed. He gave me some "homework" to do because he said that it would be cheaper for me to write down the details and such of the case and then he reviewed it and made some changes. I did prevail, but I would have given a good review regardless because of the time and attention he gave me and my case. If I had stopped after talking to the first three attorneys I talked to, then I would have lost a lot of money. I hope I do not need to use any attorney in the future, but I would trust him if I need legal advice or help again.

4/2018 - I used Scott last year and wrote the above review last year. Since then, I have sadly needed his services again. Once again he listened to my issues and gave sound advice and followed up handing everything for me. Once again, I think I have a good outcome and he kept me from being blackmailed from by someone. He also didn't even charge me earlier this year when I called just to ask what to do in an auto accident where I am being sued.

Mr. McMillan was amazingly helpful in helping me battle an insurance company that sued me for $70,000. Mr. McMillan put in an incredible amount of time and was generous about not nickel and diming me for issues that my opposition was causing me.

Ultimately we were able to settle against the insurance company for a number that I was VERY pleased with. I am forever grateful for his help, and if you have a job that he can help you, I would encourage you to reach out to him.
