Because of my financial predicament, my mom was solely responsible for paying Patricia. Neither the guardian nor teen son has spoken to me, the daughter of the guardian, mother of son, going on close to two years. On Oct. 3, Patricia Mann sent me a legal directive to never contact my son again or else, on his birthday. The whole division of our relationship began with my mom as my son and I and even my mom and I were very close prior to my mom enabling my son to run away. This division was caused and created by the guardian, my own mother. Patricia Mann refuses to talk to me or hear my concerns, saying it costs the guardian too much to talk to me. She was also overheard by a Vietnam War veteran and a bailiff saying to the guardian she would do anything the guardian asks to keep my son and me from speaking. This was not a CPS case or any harm involved. Patricia Mann has clearly demonstrated her rule of thumb for minors, anything they say goes, as quoted in her last legal directive. My son was 14 when he ran away. Considering the fact Patricia Mann is supposed to be a child advocate, please be aware she will further isolation at all costs, even in light of severe emotional pain.
