I was given a speeding ticket for 36mph over the speed limit. I Never go more than 15mph over the limit.. I decided to hire FL Traffic Defense to represent me. In the end, the points were withheld, adjudication was withheld, I paid Attorney Falik a reasonable rate to represent me, and I had to pay a fine and court costs. The only thing that could have gone better is if the ticket had been dropped all together, but I'm sure he tried. Overall, I am satisfied with the outcome. I dont have to worry about my insurance rate going up, or having bad record. Thank you.

Using Falik's service is a waste of money. I'd honestly give negative stars if I could. I was looking for an attorney they would actually sit down with me and look into my case but instead got a brief phone call with advice I could've gotten online. I naively still agreed to his service (big mistake on my part) thinking he would at least argue for my case in court as I had explained my situation very clearly over the phone, but boy was I wrong. I was told that I did not need to be present at the court hearing and wasn't even told the date of it so I couldnt have attended either way. As I'm still in school I wouldnt have the time to go regardless so I didnt put much thought into it. Another mistake.

After receiving a transcript of the court hearing I realized what really happened. Not only did Falik (or one of his representatives as I was told) fail to argue on my behalf, I was forced to plead guilty to the charges and still required to pay the traffic ticket. The only positive outcome was that I wouldnt have points assesed, but only because this was my first and only offence as a driver not because of any evidence that was brought to light. The whole point of hiring a lawyer was to have a defense case and argue against my citation. Not only did Falik fail to do that but pled me guilty anyways. I would've paid less to go and do that myself and taken an online traffic course to not have points on my record.

In conclusion, the legal system is awful in Gainesville and disproportionately targets minorities. Pray and hope you dont get a ticket because if you do there's no help for you here. Save your time and money and frustrations and DO NOT hire Falik as an attorney, you'll regret it.

Me falik is a misleading outright liar. He said he would help me but all he did was tell me what I wanted to hear, and then did everything the exact opposite. And still does not return my emails or phone calls. I would not recommend anyone to go to me falik for any kind of help. FIND SOMEONE WHO IS NOT A LIAR!

Agree with Sherman Joseph......go somewhere else. No contact since initial phone call until an email instructing me to pay my fine shows up in my email (junk folder at that). I specifically asked to speak with an attorney, as I had video of my case (pulled over under a 65 MPH sign clocked at 70). Was instructed to email this to attorney. No response whatsoever. Not even the courtesy of a phone call. Would be better with the ticket clinic or one of the firms that is a factory, as at least you expect to be treated as such. This review isn't about price or results, it is about customer service.

I felt very wronged by the circumstances (and behavior of an officer) in Waldo.
So I hired Mr Falik to fight the ticket. It sounds like most of his practice is based on the officers no showing and the ticket being thrown out.

The officer no showed, ticket thrown out. So I'm happy.
