This man is a horrible lawyer. He takes your money and never calls and never does what he’s supposed to do. He

DO NOT USE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE IS FULL OF POOP! He talks a great game but delivers NOTHING! His ratings are low for a reason.

He will tell you what you want to hear, but once he has your money you will never hear from him. It has literally been months since we have been able to speak with him ever since we paid him. We call and leave messages or his receptionist will tell me that he will call back and has yet to happen. Take your money elsewhere and get something done the right way.

I never get phone calls back from this place. The office itself is pretty nice but it just makes me feel like they take peoples money and run. No one here seems to have the type of customer service skills to build a decent client/attorney relationship. They never follow through with anything they're supposed to. It's pretty frustrating. Dont waste your money.

Very impressed!! Even though Mr Holt was the opposing attorney in my case, surprisingly Mr Holt and his staff were very pleasant to deal with,very knowledgeable and extremely compassionate to my situation. I hope I never have to use an attorney again but if I do I can assure you that next time he and his team will be on my side of the table!

I'm really glad we never made it past the consultation stage in dealing with Mr Holt. We approached him through a recommendation (and because he's apparently the only lawyer in Valdosta that handles tenant law), and at first he was very helpful. We were dealing with both a lost wages issue as well as the apartment complex as they refused to ensure the safety of the tenant, my stepdaughter, while dealing with an abusive and vindictive roommate and coworker. All of this to be told just to pay what the apartment complex requested us to pay, even though they broke their own contract. Find someone else.

I tell ya for someone that was more than happy to take our 2000 dollars sure hasn’t worked for any of it at all I wouldn’t recommend this clown to get a traffic ticket thrown out took 3 months to write up papers to get me daughter legitimized and anoth few more to get a court date set!!!!! Then to top it off the mother went to jail for multiple felonies and didn’t wanna do his job and allowed the grandmother to receive guardianship over my daughter need also to know this grandmother jUs went to jail along with the mother for family violence when they beat up each other with the child present but he just let that slide then we finally get a court date and everything is ok with the set up visitation arranged signed by the judge and the mother goes back to jail for violations for drug use on top of all her robbery felonies and this clown couldn’t do anything to even get me temp guardianship over the jail bird grandmother. After the mother got out of jail few months later she didn’t wanna go by the court ordered papers one bit so I reached out to him and Amanda the ppl we paid for and emailed all the txt and proof to have her for contempt of court and now we’re going on 5 months ago thos all happened and nothing from these jackasses!!!!!!! I was told by a assistant my new court date was feb 23 and that Amanda was gonna be calling me about the court date that was over 3 weeks ago and not one phone call from her at all but wanted us to send her the txt about contempt of court even tho it was emailed to her and John 3 times a peice with no response I have all the emails still in my phone to prove this so I highly say stay away from thos place they are money stealing fake wanna be lawyers that don’t care about nobody but them self and their own family and kids like John holts son but it’s going on a year now and after all the mother has done with nothing at all on me not even a traffic ticket I’ve been able see my daughter 3 times I’m almost a year that’s what my 2000 dollars gave me!!!!!!!!! I do not recommend him for a custody case, he gave up way to soon during my case and the last time we were in court he was on his phone texting more than he was representing me. Very very rude also! (John Holt)

I do not recommend John holt law firm he did not work in the best interests of my wife. Who is still in jail because of him. She wanted to take the deal from her probation officer but he told her to calm down and he would fight it. She also gave a letter to him to give to the judge which he did not do because he did not think it would help. He had me schedule an appointment but was not there at the scheduled time I recommend you do not waste your money on this law firm

Unethical! Will make a single struggling mom look unfit, even if she's not. He will rapid fire you on the stand in court, and not allow you to answer.

Mr. Holt is a very good attorney, my parents used him in the past on different things and it was all handled in a professional and prompt manner. And now, I am going to Mr. Holt, so we shall see.

I hired John Holt as my lawyer in 2015. John stayed on top of everything, as well as his legal assistant(s). When it came time for my court hearing we won my case. I would use John Holt again and I recommend John Holt to your legal needs. A+

It's sad to say I DO NOT have anything that I like about Mr. Holt Service. His communication skills suck! He was working on my case for almost a year, dodging every call claiming to be on vacation out of the Country! I wish I would've known his services were this way because I would've never turned my case over to him! & the secretary doesn't relay the messages to him! POOR SERVICE

Mr. Hold and his associates were very helpful in the closing of our house. The research was accurate. The paperwork was ready when we were. He was punctual for our appointments. He was always available by phone or through an associate. The associate was knowledgeable and able to answer questions accurately. Great experience. Have used him again!!!

I would like for anyone thinking of using Mr. Holt for any legal matter to experience in advance what it would be like to spend your hard earned money at this office. Start by opening your wallet,take lets say, about 3000 dollars out, then flush it down the toilet. I was in need of an attorney but not this bad I was belittled by Mr. Holt himself, he did about 2 cents worth of work, never made a phone call,never went to court, never called me back. I paid him 3500.00 up front and he couldnt even make a phone call after he was paid. Beware of an attorney that sounds too much like a used car salesman or politician. Good luck on finding a good lawyer but dont stop here.

I do not suggest using this attorney for any matter of importance to you. As clients we are also CUSTOMERS! I called to initiate a consultation and was berated and belittled to a point of agrevation. The duty of your attorney is to get the facts and assist you in a professional matter. The facts of my case were not important to this firm. Save yourself some time and move on to another firm that will take the time to listen and treat their potential clients with respect.
