I was referred by the FL Bar after trying to get a consultation with quite a few firms closer to home. I got an appointment within a reasonable time after a couple of rounds of phone tag because I was on work calls for the callback.

Mr Johnson was very knowledgeable in an area that isn't a primary focus of the practice. He was able to give me enough guidance to feel much more comfortable when I walked out the door. I was very scattered going in, which can be quite frustrating, but he answered all of my questions and gave me sound legal advice for the particular situation. I didn't like a couple of his answers, but he told me the law instead of what I wanted to hear. The law is pretty clear in that area, so I respect the honesty.

He mentioned his retainer and hourly rate, but he also had the decency to tell me that I probably didn't really need to hire him at this point. If that changes, I will happily go back because I would trust that he had my back. That's far more important than a warm and fuzzy feeling in legal matters. If you are looking for a new best buddy, go elsewhere. But if you want an intelligent, knowledgeable attorney, he's a great choice.

I was referred by the Florida bar called times and left voicemails still have not heard back and when you call no one is available to answer the phone my strongest opinion I would not consider this place

I wish I could give less than one star. Terrible customer service, and according to the secretary the Florida bar website is misrepresenting what types of cases they will take. They are primarily a real estate law firm as I was informed by the secretary. Where as the Florida bar states they handle all sorts of issues. Definitely go elsewhere if you need your case handled with care.

Called for a consultation with a lawyer and got a rude paralegal instead who was talking over me and very impatient. Save your time and go somewhere else. These people don't care about the case just the money involved in it.

Poor excuse for a law firm. I had an appointment as referred by the Florida Bar. The attorney stood me up - was unavailable. It was obvious to him that I was not going to be a mega cash cow so he could not be bothered with his time. You may want to look for an attorney who is more responsive. I would give 0 stars but you have to give at least one....
