Stancy Stribling handled my fathers estate when he passed away and could not have been more compassionate, accommodating and went beyond the call of what an attorney would normally do for a client. My situation included 4 siblings and a third wife, not our mother, who had a life estate in my fathers home along with property held separately as well as property owned jointly. The wife also had two children from a prior marriage. While the estate was not large, it did have have some unique characteristics that took special handling. Stancy was exceptionally patient with all involved and made herself available when questions came up that I could not answer as the Executrix. She was very professional, self assured in her ability and knowledge yet showed us that lawyers can also be sensitive and caring! I would give 6 stars

I don't usually leave reviews, but I saw the one-star review and I had to say something!! I had a wonderful experience with Stancy. She is really easy to talk to, and she found a way to accomplish what I needed for very reasonable fees. I would definitely recommend her to friends!!!

She is even a "Super Lawyer" and has been for many years! She's amazing.

This Probate Attorney was hired (by me) for my small children when their father passed away. I am extremely disappointed with her enthusiasm and ability to do minor things like help with employment paperwork or get my children accesses to important things that were theirs. This lawyer asked me to get another attorney to help with things like 401k and the IBM retirement guardian stuff. I mean, what? I hired her to help with this stuff?
When it came down to going to court to get minor things, she literally told me it would cost 6000.00 to get some old books, a couple of diplomas, and some old trophies. Then when I said, ok this is ridiculous but lets get the stuff she sent me an email about not wanting to go to court. This is after I have paid her over 4000.00 (Well over 4, but I would need to check the recipe to get an exact number) Honestly, I feel that she not only didn't help my children at all but she hindered anything that could have been done smoothly in the process of this. I further, feel that she cost my children a great deal for being lackadaisical about the whole interaction. I had to hire another attorney, and thank God I did. I would have never known exactly how bad this one ones had I not hired one that, at least, acts like he cares and takes great effort to protect and work for my children.
Anyway, I was unable to find any reviews while I was searching in that area for attorneys so I wanted to make sure that there was at least one review on this attorney. I could have saved many thousands of dollars if there were more reviews like this. Reconsider using this person to meet your probate needs.
