Brent Day has been my lawyer for nearly a year now in trying to gain custody of my son. They've done right by me.
Just remember, there are no stupid questions and never too many questions. I'm certain I've asked Mrs. Crystal the same questions a few different times and she's always given me answers when I asked.
If need be, bring someone with you who will ask questions you don't think of. That's something I had to do.
Thanks to them, I finally get to play a role in my sons life.

MOST READ: I would like to start by saying, I very rarely leave a review, but not only is this one much-needed it's also very near to my heart. As a good father not many people even believe we exist. After a series of unfortunate circumstances I was, apparently, on the wrong side of the law due to the vicious nature of a former family member.. I had charges taken up by the DA against me, because of what inherently and simply was one man's statement against mine. During my initial consultation, I made it clear that my priority was having my case handled timely, with the court date about 2 1/2 months out. This did not happen. Responses and filings were not handled on the timeline we agreed to, which caused a continuance to be given. But that was not done until I had wasted a day off work to be in court. The 2nd court date, Mr Day had other cases that he said were a priority over mine, so we had another continuance, again after me taking a day off work. On top of things not being handled, he and the office did not know the history and issues of my case, I had to repeatedly point out things and remind them of the history. My case should have been very simple. Maybe he handles complex cases well, but my experience has been very bad. The staff is very unprofessional and not helpful. I did not feel like I had an advocate, and feels like a complete waste of money.

I was seeking an attorney for a current child support case. I called around lunch today to schedule a consult. I was told that Mr. Law would contact me after his " lunch meeting", well that was at 11. 3 hours later I call back and asked if he had returned. I was told by a very rude receptionist that he was not in, she didn't know where he was or when he was coming back. when I asked if he had received my message and would he would he return my call, she sighed very loudly and asked in annoyed tone did I want to leave another message. Needless to say if I plan to spend any amount of money for a service, it will never start that way. BRENT T LAW SHOULD GET A NEW RECEPTIONIST!!!!
