Mr. Mims represented my ex husband during our divorce. He purposely made the process extremely difficult for me and my 10 year old daughter. He was somehow able to delay our trials multiple times for uncalled reasons so that my ex could have several surgeries while on my health insurance. It took me almost 2 years to finalize my divorce and I blame Mr. Mims for the majority of this. He would also hire people to serve me at work all subpoenas every time we went to court, there were several occasions that the same subpoena was served more than once, not to mention that I work at an elementary school. He also openly talked to the guardian ad litem loudly in front of myself and my witnesses during court about confidential details of my case. My ex husband was allowed to take the stand and told many lies about the details of our marriage. I never had the opportunity to tell my side and was involved in an abusive situation for many years. Now my daughter is suffering and catching the brunt of my ex husbands’ abuse. I feel that Mr. Mims bullied me into settling my case. He left me feeling like I had no choice and used his expertise to hurt two innocent people. He maybe a good lawyer and have influence among others, but this man is willing to sacrifice his morals to win his cases. He and my ex husband are very much alike. I know that most people don’t care about this when choosing an attorney, however if you do-please do not support this person or his law firm.
