Mr. Bodiford is the best of the best of what he does I hired him from out of state. And I got way more then I paid for. He really knows his family court. From the moment I hired him I knew that he would handle my case as like I was the only case he had. If I needed anything him or his clerk would have the answer and in the rare occasion they didnt he would find it fast and return my phone call ASAP with a since of urgency like I’ve never seen in any attorney I’ve ever dealt with. I must say thank god for this man and his law firm for the effort and enthusiasm they used within my case... if you ever need a family court attorney hire him. I’m a father that went up against my kids mother and he brought everything to light and explained and knew the out come before we got there.

My boyfriend & I are still in the process of his case for child support & divorce from his ex. So far bodiford & his staff have done an excellent job. & we truly believe the outcome will b what we're hoping for!

He did nothing but send me a new bill just before each court date even after telling me the first amount we agreed to would court any subsequent hearing. Just before the final court date he quit and send i could represent myself in front of judge Naman because I would not pay him another 2500 dollars for a court date the he already said I paid for the first and second time. He left me with no lawyer just a month out from my court date. I would recommend you get everything in writing from him and dont pay over the phone if not to use him at all. A thorough waste of my time and hard earned money.

Apparently you have to be a man to get him to fight for you. He didn't use ANY of the evidence in my case, never asked real questions during the trial, and never explained ANYTHING to me. Just kept saying I wasn't listening to him. Listen to what? He never told me anything. Had to pay $3000 up front and then after the trial was over he sent me a bill for $2000 more. And he started his practice way back when with the opposing attorneys father. They are great friends. I think that also had some thing to do with it. So now my special needs son has more visitation with a 'clearly hostile, seemingly violent' father. He is being mentally and emotionally abused because Bodiford didnt try. Steer clear

Mr. Bodiford filed a motion for me for instanter suspension of visitation, and modification of child support...then showed up to court 3 hours late totally unprepared. He seemed to not know one thing about my case. Then suggested I drop the motion that HE FILED or I could lose my child altogether!!!Then when my husband went to his office to speak with him about what was going on he called the law on him & told us we owe him MORE MONEY. I've contacted the Bar association on this matter & will be taking this action further to assure he doesn't take anyone else's money like he did mine & my children's. He should be embarrassed to be called a lawyer for kids. This man is a scatter brain & very rude to his clients. I would not recommend anybody use this man if you love your children at all. He will SCREW YOU without a care in the world.

Based on our experience a few years ago using him for a child support modification. He was extremely rude quite a few times. Told us that the child support modification was increased to $61, but it was actually over $250. Mr. Bodiford stated the new amount wold not be backdated, when it actually was. Which caused my husband to have $750 go to collections without us being aware of it. Mr. Bodiford gave us the wrong information. Our experience with him was horrible. Spend the extra money and find a lawyer with more patience and without the cranky attitude.

When I used him he was very late to court and as if he never looked at the file. Needless to say it was a total disaster. Then he asked for a lot more money and treated me the whole time as if I worked for him. Very rude and impatient. I fired him and threw away the two grand I given him. Its worth it to me if I never have to see that man again in my life. the only reason I gave one star.... it was the only way to post my review.

I first met Mr. Bodiford in June 2013. He knew my case would be a tough one because of all I was facing. My ex wife had a PFA and divorce order on me which meant I could not see my 3 children. Within 2 weeks he had it retracted and a visitation schedule set up. I used James for my divorce and he did a marvelous job. I would recommend him to anyone.
