Used Ms. Hutton based on reviews, so i felt the need to post. She did not listen to our wishes. Made my grandmother cry and never apologized or attempted to put her at ease (she was the client). During FREE consultation, started drawing up paper work that ended up costing us. Said paper work (to do what we wanted) was not correct according to court. She was eager to do extra things (for profit). At end of consultation we were asked to review on Bing Yelp and Google so that's where her positive reviews are from.

If I could rate my experience with Tempie Hutton with zero stars I would. On our initial visit which was suppose to be free she was overly aggressive in her tone and the manner she spoke to my 90 year old grandmother. She belittled a strong woman to the point of tears. She kept stating that "We were not listening to her and that we NEEDED her...." The only thing that seemed important to Tempie Hutton was Tempie Hutton making her point and us retaining her as our "LAWYER" to the tune of $5,000 but she offered herself 2 acres of my grandmother's land as payment. I'm pretty sure that's against the law. Upon our second visit to attain the paperwork that was needed to finish our business at the court house (Which was incorrect and incomplete according to Lubbock County Courthouse) she began to belittle my family yet AGAIN..... and attempted to block me in her office by getting up and standing in front of the door because she wanted to make her point YET AGAIN..... "That we needed her and that we didn't know what we were doing....." I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE THAT I KNOW FOR ANY REASON. She was completely UNPROFESSIONAL and a grievance with the Texas State Bar Association will be filled against her.

She was saying she doesn’t do anything for free, she doesn’t travel to my town for anything less than $10,000, she has done more than enough for me, and being flat out rude. I did not ask her to do anything for free, she offered. She gave me a set price because of my last name. She told me she would come to My town and that I better call my momma and tell her somebody cares about me. This woman is rude and I will never advice someone to acquire her!

We were drawn to Tempie's honesty and passion for what is best for a child. Tempie spent 3 hours attempting to reason, signing over rights with someone who was not mentally stable, unpredictable, and dangerous. She told me that the only thing that kept her focused was thinking of mine and and my daughters eyes. What compassion and True heart..... protecting others. I am still in awe as to how easy you made all of this look, when I know how far from the truth that is. We both know we had no control over this one though. Long story-short.... The Stepfather who has been raising my daughter since she was 3 and is now 9 was able to adopt his little girl and give her a since of belonging and stability. I have never heard nor experienced what took place from Tuesday to Friday in one week, (Adoption) What a tenacious, strong, and no BS woman. Tempie cares......She hasn't forgotten what its like to be on the other side of the legal system.

worse experienced I ever had with a lawyer, I only spent 2 hours with her total after telling her that I decided not to get divorced and that I was going to pay her for my services and for her to return back my money that i over paid , she is very greedy . The reason that I fired her is because after reading the divorced documents she was adding some things I didnt asked her to do. All what i wanted was a fair divorced not a criminal case
and make up stories to win a case.I dont recommended her at all.
