.AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Against my advice to NOT hire Alida LeAnn Slipher, my daughter hired her anyway. "Give her the benefit of the doubt mom " she said. So I did. I figured with the complicated case she had , she needed a more experienced Atty. More than just a 6 year out of law school Atty that didn't have the experience to handle this complicated case. But , after hearing the whole case Alida promised my daughter she could handle the whole thing for one price. We all agreed on this and Alida smoothly slid contact over to my daughter , not allowing me to take a look at it and told her to sign... My daughter, still beaten and battered over the whole situation had no Idea that Alida wasn't going to work on the case l and allowed the other defendants atty to do all the paper work. After calling her and asking why isn't anything we talked about in these papers from the other atty.. Slipher acted like she knew nothing my daughter was talking about. Like she has amnesia . Like she didn't even remember my daughters name must less the case. Slipher referred her to her secretary.... I knew then this was a LAZY atty...Her attitude was way off.. She strikes you as uppity kinda of snooty. I guess that's just her demeanor. if it is, its awful... . I went with my daughter into her appointment today. She wanted to question all the charges on her bill. Well, when we got there Slipher didn't have no patients at all. When we ask about the charges and the case. She screamed across the desk that she had no intentions of discussing the case with me , her clients mother. My daughter politely ask her not to talk to her mom this way. Alida LeAnn Slipher slammed her hands on her desk and violently told us to get out of her office. I ask her about the remaining balance of my daughters account.. Alida screamed at me NO REFUND.. I am handicapped and it took me a moment to get up. Which threw Slipher into a TEMPER TANTRUM! Ive never seen anything like it before in my 55 years! She was screaming in my face with spital clinging to her mouth. As I made it out the door she violently slams the door behind us and screams, "call the law." And they did. We waited outside to speak with the deputies. After they went into the office they came out to speak to us. We explained what happened and That they knew of her temper. This TEMPER TANTRUM she threw today was far from professional and I would call into question her ethics and a possible ethics violation in reference to her doctoring her bill when she realized the bill was being watched... We will be filing a formal complaint against Alida LeAnn Slipher with the Mississippi Bar association and all the reviews we can type to warn folks not to be fooled by her smile. She has anger issues that need to be addressed. A proper review of her law office is in order. We want everyone reading this review to note she is only six years out of law school and hasn't the experience to handle any complicated issues and if you question her charges she will throw a TANTRUM like a little spoiled child. it was UNBELIEVABLE! BEWARE! AVOID this office at all cost...
