Over a decade and a half ago I hired Roy Burns on behalf of loved one who was charged with a DWI. Roy Burns did absolutely nothing and actually made matters worse for the person charged. Although, when he was initially consulted he stated he could help for a fortune at the time. Needless to say he bombed. Why? He did absolutely nothing after he was paid and then showed up in court stated only one thing “to pray”. Obviously, from there I hired another attorney. That attorney had to work so much harder to undo the mess created by loved one driving under the influence and Roy Burns absolute lack of work on the case. I feel pretty comfortable saying I truly believe Roy Burns did not care about myself, my loved one, his job and the only thing he cared about is the check I gave up front in full. Funny thing is in the past two decades I have worked with numerous attorney’s for various things, this criminal charge, divorce, estate planning, wills etc. All of them have been awesome. Two of them are in ST. Tammany both Hank Graham whom I adore and John Linder. I really can’t imagine Roy Burns has changed since I hired long ago and I’d advise anyone considering this attorney to consult a few more before forming over a check.
