I consulted with a dozen attorneys and their terms and conditions where endless, not to mention their fees. I left this office as the last option in my shopping list, I was so amazed at their professional environment and prices. I've never seen more unprofessional behavior in a law firm. I've dealt with them in the past when I accompanied a family friend and my mother to speak to Benjamin, the office manager, and he was extremely superior and unconcerned in his tone. While my mother and her friend were simply inquiring on what exactly the evaluation entailed and why 2 months of time were wasted in an urgent immigration case just to be told that they couldn't take the case, all we received were discourteous comments and interruptions. He would not let either of them speak and spoke over them. Additionally, none of the phone calls made by Ms. Hodan or my mother were returned. They also dropped the case without informing Hodan, essentially wasting even more of her time. To me, this law firm put little to no work into the case. All of the documents were brought to them, they did not visit the client, and they took two months for something that could've been determined in an initial consultation of 30 minutes to an hour, tops. The icing on the cake is that they asked for 4,000$ more when from what I understand, they had already predetermined that they would be unable to win the case. This was a very negative and unpleasant experience for someone in a very traumatizing situation. I do not recommend this firm in the least.

I can honestly say from my opinion Moore takes pride in what he does and genuinely cares about your situation. Alonzo was our paralegal and was on top of every document needed for our case. Once we would submit docs needed, he would send us a scratch list of the documents pending. As long as you are cooperative and provide everything they ask for they will have everything under control.

We hired Mr. Moore on behalf of my husband for cancellation of removal. My husband was in removal proceedings for convictions he had in his past. We gathered about 100 or more documents and Mr. More studied every single document that we provided. In court, he is so persistent and refuses to lose. I can't say my wife and I enjoyed working with many of the legal assistants we had through this firm. I also felt that, since we were a "simple case" (never married before, no crime history, never entered illegally), they kind of ignored us. The assistants we dealt with had so many issues, from not speaking English or Spanish well enough to speak with us to making very obvious mistakes. One of them didn't realize there were 52 weeks in a year when trying to calculate my income. She assumed 4 weeks a month. Grade school knowledge here. Another one went on vacation without telling us. Most of them were very slow in responding and would get upset if you called. A few of them couldn't write in proper Spanish and had mistakes on even my wife's Mexican address. The last one was just a horrible person who was angry all the time. On top of that, the business development guy or whoever I talked to in the beginning said that the process would take six months. Now I know better. It was never going to take six months; ours took two years.

Although there were so many issues, I don't suggest ever going through the process without a lawyer. You have to find a good one. Maybe this one is good for others; it wasn't good for us. There was one person who helped us when we had issues at the consulate, and I wish I could remember his name. He was the only positive support we had. (by the way, we did have issues at the consulate due to receiving very little information about what was expected of us when we got there from the horrible legal assistant we had at the end of our very long two years with these guys.).

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. We were supposed to have a meeting with the lawyer right before our consular visit. I thought we'd have a group call, something almost every office can do: my wife in mexico, the lawyer in El Paso, and me in Virginia. When it came time for the meeting, they said they couldn't do that and he only had to talk with my wife. The problem with that was they couldn't communicate very well. I think my wife said his Spanish was horrible and, even though my wife has great English, it's harder to remember everything that's said when it's in English for her. That's why I insisted, unsuccessfully, to be in the meeting. The lawyer ended up bad mouthing me to my wife. I'm the one who paid these lawyer fees and they have absolutely no respect or sense of professionalism.
