I will NEVER recommend this place! They have a strong tendency to LIE to you. Everything I type here are pure facts based on my experience with this law firm.

I was involved in a horrid accident when a full size GMC truck was going about 70 to 70 mph or more and hit my full size GMC Envoy on the passenger side. I was hit so hard, that my Envoy landed about 50 yards away and it was totaled. The doctors were amazed that I survived that crash. I thank God and my guardian angels for that. I wanted to sue this driver and his insurance company so I called Gopin and here is how it all started.

1. I was contacted and visited by Mr. DeAnda. Well, he lied! He discussed my case with me. I told him "The only reason I am getting a lawyer is because I want some good money." He replied "yes, don't worry, you will be VERY COMFORTABLE with the money you get" I then replied, "I am looking to get at least 50 thousand dollars from this case for me" he replied "oh yeah, you will get at least that for sure."
Basically he LIED right to my face! No wonder he never looked at me when he replied. This is the start of the lies.
2. The ladies who work for the Montwood location, I hate to say this, but they are morons (well most of them are, only one lady I found was professional)! Every time I went there, they hardly ever knew what was going on. First one lady was handling my case, then another and so on. I was running in circles with this location! Finally I was able to speak to the person who was handing my case at that time and she told me I was only getting 30 thousand dollars. I was so furious! So she made me an appointment with Michael Gopin.
3. I spoke with Gopin and after being let down thus far, he tells me that I will get only 30 thousand dollars because that's the law! ugh! Out of those 30 thousand dollars, I will have to pay him his fee (which I have no problem with), but from what was left of my 18 thousand dollars or so, I still have to pay all my medical bills from my damn money!! Those commercials he does about fighting for us! I call BS, that's not fighting for me! I understand they are fighting for reducing the medical costs with discounts, but what about money for me? I was told by DeAnda that I would be well compensated! What a load of BS!
4. Finally, the worst of them all, Gracie, she is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever worked with. Mr Gopin closed my case in August, now Gracie is working on my discounts. All of them are done except for one discount she has left to complete. It is from the Therapy Wellness Center. First of all I spoke to her once and she informed me that she emailed them and was waiting for their response. So after I was upset, she replied that she would email them again in a sarcastic voice. Email them??? What the heck! Why not call them and get on their damn case so I can get the money coming to me! She is so unprofessional; and beware, she NEVER returns my calls! I have left between 10 to 20 messages in 2 months and she NEVER returns my calls! I was lucky to get in contact with her when I did.

In Summary. All this process happened in Sept of 2018 and it's Nov 2019, over a year now. I shouldn't have to be stressing over this. I honestly don't know why it's taking so long to get my money! I am truly disappointed with this law firm because they LIE and some of their employees are so unprofessional!

I will never recommend him for anything. Took nine months and no contact by phone, letters, emails and if it wasn't for me calling they never called me. They never knew where my paperwork was, never issued a person to my case. Most of the time you call the secretary tells you what little she knew and said they'd call you back but they never would. There is always different people asking for your information again and again. Not a Stable location. Very disappointed I lost nine months to get surgery that I really need and now my shoulder will never be the same. I was also looking for work and now I'm set back. Not knowing where to start again. The lose of nine months for nothing. So they can tell me they got $5,000 only and they will pay the medicals Bill's with that. I got nothing. A courtesy call would have made a big difference nine months ago. He is a clown like his commercials that he makes. Takes your difficulties as a joke. How sad. I am devastated.

I wish I could rate them with 0 stars since their service is so terrible. Had a three minute meeting with one of the paralegal who decided to pick up a phone call during our consult. Wr were rudely dismissed once we started asking questions about what could they do for us and how will the other party be affected. Don’t waste your time find a different lawyer who actually cares about people and not just money.
