Don't underestimate this Lady!
After struggling on my own with Social Security and being denied I was worried that my claim was impossible so I decided to hand it over to a professional. I contacted a few law offices and finally, I chose Merryl. For the first time in this process, I finally felt some hope...she was sharp, considerate and took things over after my first appointment. I truly felt supported through it all. At my final hearing, I realized how very respected she is by the Social Security Administration office staff from the security officer at the front entrance to the Judge who actually complimented her work. She really is a powerhouse. Without Merryl on my side, I don't believe I would have been successful but even if we weren't, I'm blessed I got the chance to have worked with someone so faithful and sincere.

I give this place a one star because it seems like they can't return people's phone calls I had left a message over a month ago about wanting to hire Merryl Jones as a lawyer to help me get on SSI a friend had refereed me to her but why would I want to hire someone that can't even return phone calls it shows me that you are not even interested in wanting to help people out.

An absolutely awful person and organization. Twice over the years I asked them for help, and twice they declined without even letting me know that they declined the case, wasting even more precious time from the important 60 day window. If you decline a case, you're supposed to be prompt and let that person know so they can move on to the next lawyer, not waste their time waiting for you to pick up the phone to find your courage. The second time, I even went so far as to ask Amanda to at least let me know if they declined the case, since I remembered their atrocious behavior from before. She promised to, and broke that promise.

I highly recommend hiring Merryl Wash Jones as your lawyer to guide you through the confusing maze that is Social Security. My case was especially hard due to the fact that I am only 23 years old, but she took it anyway because she believed in my case and that we had a chance with a hearing with a judge. I was a nervous wreck, but she did an amazing job of being my personal defender and advocate! She always answered any questions I had very professionally and informatively. Today I thank God that I was able to hire her and get my disability benefits because it has taken so much stress off of my life and my family’s. I had a very difficult disability case. We had to go all the way to a hearing in front of a judge(who only approves about 30% of the cases she hears). Mrs Jones was very thorough in researching my medical conditions, and was very thorough explaining how my fibromyalgia and allodynia prevents me from working. I highly recommend employing her to represent you in your disability case! She earned every cent of the money she got from representing me.
