I found Kell when randomly searching for an employment attorney in Austin. It was a shot in the dark, but what a find! I don't even know where to start because I have so many favorable things to say about Kell. As soon as I had my first chat with him about my potential case, I felt confident he would easily become a trusted advisor and was pleased he was able and willing to work with me. He's honest, a great communicator, very responsive, easy to talk to, extremely well-versed in his field, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Kell, while polite and seemingly knowledgable, misses a LOT of scheduled calls. He took my case, reviewed my evidence, decided to attempt an settlement offer... only to send ONE email to the employer. He claims on his website to be "zealous..." but he refused to call them or send physical mail (i.e. USPS), and then decided to back out altogether... but wanted to refer me to ANOTHER employment attorney. Wasted 3 months of my time. Horrible experience.

Mr Simon's was very personal. Took time to look at my case and was straight up with me. Even tho he was very busy with other cases and could not take mine do to time limit on my case, would very highly recommend him.

I contacted a dozen of attorneys about a possible employment dispute. I was quite frustrated that no attorney would tell me straight away if I had a legal case or not without having me pay up to $350 for an one-hour consultation.

Do not get me wrong, I am more than willing to pay fairly for an attorney and his/her service if I pursue a legal case. I just resent that so many attorneys would not tell me whether I have a legal case or not, until having me pay $350 for a consultation?! It made me feel that those attorneys were after my $ regardless, that does not instill trust.

Through this brief interaction with Kell, his professional candor, honest advice and his attitude of acting in the best in a potential customer made a deep impression on me. He is a rare exception.

Submitted my case information, was contacted, and they were interested in the case - UNTIL I mentioned that i was a devout Christian and that I had been retaliated against for my beliefs and was terminated for standing up for my beliefs - it was at that time i was told: "Oh, I'm sorry, we don't take cases like this."
It was fine until you found out I believe in and follow the Lord Jesus. The bible says we'll endure these types of things, and it just makes us better people. It's unfortunate that these people, and most in America, don't want anything to do with Jesus or Christianity, and that/ this is what's wrong with our country. I will be praying for these poor lost souls, for judging me and my situation.

Very knowledgeable and responsive

Kell helped me with an employment related matter and was great! He was prompt and considerate. I am thankful that I found him!

I had a contractor / employment contract that I needed reviewed. He got back to me quickly, we sat down and went through the parts I had questions on. We changed some minor things to clarify them and better protect both parties and the company agreed to those changes. I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for peace of mind before signing something.

I never even got to speak with him directly. I had to talk to his assistant and he rejected the case before he even spoke to me. Horrible service. I'd pick zero stars if I could. I'd at least like a courtesy call considering I was to give you business i.e. money. FYI be cautious with businesses with only 5 stars. That's usually an indication of people being paid to write reviews or friends writing reviews. Not every one business always has 5 stars. Look how generic the reviews are. They can't even speak about their specific cases. Ha

I sought Kell out in an effort to right a wrong. I was all set to go on FMLA that had been pre-approved. The last day of work prior to my surgery I was fired without cause. With Texas being a right to work and an at will state, I did not think I had very many means of recourse. I did not have any delusions that this was going to be a slam dunk and some sort of a financial windfall for me, nor was that my goal.
