I have been extremely impressed with my experience while working with Ryan Dougay. He is very driven to fight for his clients. I was caught in a terrifying situation and felt I had done everything I possibly could to protect myself.

I was recommended to Ryan via my boyfriend’s current lawyer who was also involved with the respondent for family court issues. I met with Ryan and gave him 5 months’ worth of harassing, threatening, and terrifying information that I had received from this individual. 5 months of nonstop one-way communication, emails, text messages, social media posts, etc. everything you can possibly think of, the file was so large I had to contain it all in a zip file. The email communications were sent to numerous parties where other individuals were also being targeted and attacked by the respondent. Ryan agreeing to take this case on to help protect me meant that he would be putting himself in the crosshairs of this individual. He efficiently reviewed everything, organized it all, and stayed in contact with me frequently so I knew what next steps we were taking together to move forward. He obtained an ex-parte protective order for me and prepped me that stalking protective orders aren’t the easiest to win. Our trial was an all-day event and the respondent had subpoenaed individuals. Ryan was so well prepared that he had files already ready with questions to ask her witnesses. He was able to ask the respondents witnesses questions that only hurt her defense. At the end of our trail we were granted a 17-year protective order not only on the grounds of stalking but also on the evidence of family violence and the judge also granted us attorney’s fees!

His thorough understanding of Texas law is commendable. He knew all of the right avenues to approach for not one particular kind of protective order but two. He is so well versed in family law and criminal that he was able to morph these together to get me the best possible outcome. The fact that he agreed to get involved and risked being caught in the crosshairs of the respondent’s constant disregard for law enforcement, current court rulings, and nonstop harassing communication, stalking, and threats is admirable. we have hired Ryan four times now two times to fight false protection orders that were filed against us and once to seek one ourselves. the fourth time was to seek a modification a child parent relationship suit we were able to prevail all four times Ryan is an excellent attorney who is smart honest and reliable he was quick to let us know when something has changed in our case and to rely information as needed Ryan was an excellent attorney and was able to block an object to all the illegal evidence and protect us and keep us safe he has truly changed the course of our lives for the better and has protected us he is the kind of man that you want on your side if you are facing false allegations or trying to protect you or your I couldn't recommend him more. I did not like this lawyer, one that lies to his own client and that you can't get a hold of. I am sure if you didn't have a payment agreement and cash up front you would be treated better.

This guy really helped me out when I didn't know what to do. He managed to get sole custodial rights for me and my daughter. I will never forget.

As a military father i would of thought my chances of getting any custody with my daughter was slim to none. As a Male in Texas i thought about giving up and assume i wouldn't have any chance of custody of my daughter.
